DHS' Napolitano Op-Ed: 'Scanners Are Safe, Pat-Downs Discreet'

(CNSNews.com) - Writing in USA Today Monday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano asked airline passengers for their "cooperation, patience and a commitment to vigilance in the face of a determined enemy."

She said the new body scan machines that see through clothing are "safe, efficient, and protect passenger privacy." And she clalims "the vast majority of travelers say they prefer this technology to alternative screening measures," such as physical pat-downs.

Janet, would you care to walk through your highly recommended scanners despite the fact your privacy is violated???

I would remind you Janet, that you have committed yourself to confessing and encouraging Federal employees to violate the law of the land in violating the 4th amendment of the de jure Constitution c.1791 - 1860.

And in October 2010

Janet opts out.

From NY Daily News:
"Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano yesterday hailed them as an important breakthrough for airport security and the fight against terrorism.

Yet when it came to testing the devices - which produce chalky, naked X-ray images of passengers - she turned the floor over to some brave volunteers."

Where in the constitution does

she get the right to search Americans and threaten them without a search warrant? This is just another usurper/traitor who should be arrested and severely punished. These self righteous, indignant self servers have ruined our country and its guaranteed freedoms. We have to stop this now or there will be nothing left...

Maybe our number one

Maybe our number one terrorist would like to demonstrate for us. She can go through the scanner, and then be physically explored by one of her underlings.

So was

So was the conditions at ground zero, perfectly safe! If you don't mind cancer and other adverse effects on your genetic make up then it's all good. Of course people prefer scanners over rape downs. Once they tell you they're going to fondle you for fun people quickly jump in line to get their daily dose of radiation. If we don't...the terrosists win

Safe and Discreet is not what this is about.

This is about a rogue government who is supposed to protect our rights to be "secure" in our "person". They have instead opted to violate our rights by telling us they will do it in a safe and discreet manner.

Where are all the people who shout "I will never let the government into my bedroom"? So is it okay for them to reach into your pants or up your skirt or under your bra?

Where is the vaunted ACLU?

question! Just where is the ACLU????
