Planet Prison?

‎Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe stated something that has been quoted by many people:

"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free".

Few people know that Goethe believed in reincarnation or that he said once that quote: "earth is a mental asylum of the Universe".

Well my fellow slaves let me tell you what I think what my belief is in regards to our poor fortunes on this planet.

I think in our God created essence we are all pure on the inside...there is a spark of God.
We are basically trapped in our bodies which in effect act as our prison.

We were send down here to earth {I call it hell or as the Koran calls it "the lowest heaven"} because we did something {before we were born in this incarnation}...

and reality is no nation ever in its history has attained true Liberty...
we are being kept in darkness brainwashed lied to...

we are all prisoners on this planet {that includes the "controllers" they are also prisoners}

Good post, Legalize. Lately,

Good post, Legalize. Lately, for myself, I've been finally delving in the Bible, and through some of the reading I've done and through discussions with my father, this existence on earth is what I believe to be the "baptism of fire".

I too am trying to reach within and out the light. It's always easier said than done, but we've got to start somewhere. It is definitely a challenge, but it seems to be the only option left. It's funny because, as things get worse and worse, I become more optimistic because of the opportunity that will be presented to people through such tragedy, which would be the acceptance of light in their lives.

Thank you

the sooner we see the reality for what it is the sooner we will be able to find the solution.

The evil machine controls elections it controls most aspects of our lives...MSM...sports...education system...entertainment...

Thanks for the Carlin side out ...

That is a good segment ... a lot said in 3 minutes.

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

I understand where you are

I understand where you are coming from. I also think often about the negative things in the world and nature of humanity. It is all quite depressing, really. People like to point out that I should "be more positive" and try to look on the bright side. Of course there are good things that happen and things to be happy about occasionally, but the overall status of the world is one of suffering. I could go on and on about this, and I'm sure my statements will be questioned due to their vagueness, but I'll simply end with a paraphrased quote I shall attribute to a favorite philosopher of mine:

"The world is a penal colony on which we are sentenced not to death, but to life for the crime of being born."

-Arthur Schopenhauer

"The casualty of partisanship is objectivity."

Thanks for your comment HubrisAmericanus

That is also one of my favorite quotes.

I read dozens of books written by Atheist writers in the early 90's and for about 10 years I tried to be an Atheist but in the end I could not be one.

Gnosticism is very appealing to me.
If all people realize that there is a God on their inside that there is "kingdom of God within us" and not outside of us then we would become more assertive more confident in our struggle for Liberty.

F*** War!

It's mostly attitude.

If you are not kidnapped, trussed and gagged, and being eaten alive by fire ants, chances are your "Hell" is more attitude than actual. Are you in a job or relationship you hate? Either get out of it or decide not to stress about it. It may sound naive but it really can be that simple; you can decide to be happy or content. Try it.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

That's a good point.

Attitude is very important.

It sounds easy. Sometimes it is easy. Right now, its hard for me. Too much "stinking thinking".

I am looking at the reality

billions of animals are kept alive in extreme conditions just so that you and me can survive another day by eating their dead bodies...

billions of human beings are hungry homeless or both...

I am just a sensitive poet:

do you want me to dance with joy knowing how many things are wrong all over this planet?

of course I can decide to be "happy" and the illusion of this "happiness" can carry me as those who were happily crossing Atlantic ocean on a ship called Titanic.

I live by one of the biggest and the most beautiful parks in Canada close to the lake...
most days I feed pigeons and play games with squirrels...I have my "zen" moments every day...one of the lucky people I am with a lot to be Thankful for.

I'm glad you have your Zen moments.

I suppose you mean that you don't place judgments on what you perceive or experience but simply let the experience pass through you. Letting things be OK with you, even sickness and loss and death, is a valuable ability.

There are quadrillions of life forms extinguished naturally every day just on this planet. Can it be any different on a quadrillion other life-bearing planets in the universe? Picture that when you see human disregard toward animals. It's not Hell, it just IS :-)

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Heh. I believe we were sent

Heh. I believe we were sent to this beautiful planet to love, celebrate, and rejoice in our inner contained God..

Agreed!

I think

we were send here to suffer...and love is the only way out the only bridge to God.

Just like gold gets purified in fire so are our souls purified through suffering.

In the Koran earth is described as the "lowest heaven".
I agree.
This is the lowest domain.
From here we can only move up.

Thanks Crickett.

Legalize..I rarely discuss

Legalize..I rarely discuss spiritual matters because it makes little sense to me, but since you and I understand things in this realm, just about opposite, I will say a few things.
First, I was raised Jewish, and was told God was everywhere. From a very early age, I could not understand why, then, we could not see or KNOW God. I actively searched for this ability for MANY years. I went to just about every church, read a LOT of books of all religions, and found they were all saying basically AT THEIR CORE, the same things. People could and did experience GOD. The basically same God, appearing as light, sound, vibration, and even taste.
One day I was finally lucky enough to find someone who could teach me how to have this experience..and LO AND BEHOLD, it was inside me the entire time. We are born with an inner connection to the Infinite. It is available ANY time we want. Jesus said it, Mohammed said it, Krishna said it--they ALL said it, but them saying it or reading about that experience is not the same as having that experience available any time.
With this Knowledge, all suffering becomes an illusion our mind plagues us with. Freedom comes not from outside, but from within. No one can take it from me and it becomes obvious that when we DIE, that force leaves our body. The supposedly wonderful time we had on this planet, with all its sensuous sense filling, while having a connection to that Generator, Operator, Destroyer force within us, is over.
You may see hungry people, but many smile and are still enjoying life. I may end up in jail, but my freedom stays with me.
I want a love-filled and peaceful planet. I want the corruption and dastadness over, but I refuse to suffer from it. I get caught up in it sometime, myself. I make human mistakes. Enlightenment is not always what people think it is, in reality. But I promise you. Suffering is NOT the human condition. If you look for bad things you will see them everywhere. If you look for good things, you see THEM everywhere. Try it one day, and you will see what I mean. The object is to make your mind shut up so that you can experience what is also within us, that created that mind. Something much more powerful.
Oh well..am done. Jai Sat Chit Anand.

in some way yes I am

Discovered my belief my knowing of reincarnation at 15.
Parts of Gnosticism make sense to me.
Earth is under occupation enslavement even Bible talks about it...

Know Yourself...yep...
The so called Gnostic Gospel of Thomas Dydimos discovered near the village of Nag Hammadi in Egypt influenced me a lot.

As did books about Cathars {the "pure ones" as they were then called}.
