Feds Allow TSA to Unionize: Will They Also Escape Obamacare?

Remember that unions are exempted from Obamacare. I believe that this is equivalent to giving the TSA a waiver for Obamacare. These people will now be fully assimilated into the power grid to perhaps be later called upon to enforce more government-sponsored tyranny.

TSA employees can vote on union representation, labor board rules

In a significant victory for federal employee unions, the Federal Labor Relations Authority decided Friday that Transportation Security Administration staffers will be allowed to vote on union representation.

The decision clears the way for a campaign by the government's two largest labor organizations, the American Federation of Government Employees and the National Treasury Employees Union, to represent some 50,000 transportation security officers.

"It is no secret that the morale of the TSO workforce is terrible as a result of favoritism, a lack of fair and respectful treatment from many managers, poor and unhealthy conditions in some airports, poor training and testing protocols and a poor pay system," said AFGE President John Gage. "The morale problems are documented by the government's own surveys. TSOs need a recognized union voice at work, and the important decision of the FLRA finally sets the process in motion to make that right a reality."

not officers

transportation security officers.

They are employees, just like the people who sweep the floors.

they're probably hoping to...

get on the opt-out list for Obamacare like many other large unions are. Next we can listen to them complain about not getting paid enough for grab-assing and sexually har-assing innocent people.

IR8: Diabolical move! Unions are exempted from Obamacare.

What a move for the Feds to make? Sinister. It is like they just granted the 112th waiver exemption for Obamacare without having to announce it as such.

Great insight IR8 into their real motivation!

Now won't their union need to

Now won't their union need to strike for safer working conditions away from dangerous backscatter radiation?

The Fed union is not allowed to strike. Remember what Reagan...

did when he fired all of the striking air traffic controllers?
Those people were not sheeple.

These TSA people seem to be. They will do what they are told to do including what they are currently doing, which is just sick to think about and worse to watch.

They also seem to love their working conditions, as if they were a bunch of reanimated Marquis de Sades.

Yeah I noticed this. I wonder

Yeah I noticed this. I wonder if it's a coincidence that they just got this last week? They may have been working on it for a long time, so it could have been a coincidence, but nonetheless, it seems like a bureaucratic survival tactic. I doubt it's really about working conditions...

Unionizing will help their moral. They will be officially part..

of the NWO, if they survive the repeated scanner X-rays.

"It is no secret that the morale of the TSO workforce is terrible..."

Their morale usually seems

Their morale usually seems good to me, they seem to love searching and seizing stuff.
