I just purchased this book along with

"The Case Against the Fed" and "What Has the Government Done With Our Money", both by Rothbard, as well as "The Ethics of Money Production" by Jorg Guido Hulsmann.

I have read through 12 chapters of Hazlitt. Very easy to read and full of common sense. One of my favorite chapters so far is 10, "The Fetish of Full Employment."

The first chapter sets the groundwork for the rest of the book:

"The art of economics consists in looking not merely at the immediate but at the longer effects of any act or policy; it consists in tracing the consequences of that policy not merely for one group but for all groups."

I have been recommending this book to as many people as possible.
