trying to follow this--

I determined after 9/11 never to fly again, and then I broke my resolve a couple of years ago--

I still intend not to do it again--

but this still angers me.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

same here.

I've vowed to NEVER fly, UNLESS they get rid of the utterly UNConstitutional TSA, and its Nazi-named parent and equally UnConstitutional FED.agency, Dept of HOMELAND Stupidity. Or, out of an absolute family emergency in which I'm forced to travel across some 3000 miles in the shortest time possible.

However, I do feel optimistic that the sleeping giant that is the American People have now begun to wake up, in light of the growing ubiquity of In-Your-Face-Tyranny.

It's begun. At least publicly, Pilot Michael Roberts taking a stance was all the SPARK that was needed to ignite the flames of latent longing for liberty that we are all blessed as Americans to have a heritage of.

Lionel is not the only radio guy...

... who's hot wife was assaulted. Yesterday morning one of the normally joking radio guys I listen to mentioned that his wife was "all but felt up" when they were going through security the other day. He wasn't joking.

definitely a disturbing trend

seriously, there's some wrong about a person who knows what they're doing is wrong, but do it day in and day out, under a delusion of a non-existent Fed.Gvt employee immunity.

sad really, but hopefully with the Doc's 1 paragraph fix in the language, it would be made clear for all to see.

love how consistent he is; I've yet to see a bill authored by the Doc go beyond a single page. Of course, most actually deal with repealing, or shrinking a pre-existent draconian bill. but, that's OUR Doc.

I sense a bit of libertarian spirit in Mr. John Tyner:

the LAST paragraph of that entry:

"Obviously the issue of the private airline industry mingling with the government handling of security is more complex than that. For example, with private handling of security, the screener may choose to overlook victimless crimes like drug possession or possession of sexually explicit (but otherwise legal) materials or paraphernalia during a search for dangerous items (i.e. those that could be used to commit acts of terrorism). The government, on the other hand, has, does, and will use the search for dangerous items as a pretext to arrest you for anything else they may find."

Personally, I wish the guy

Personally, I wish the guy would run for office. He is articulate, calm, strong, and seems honest. I REALLY like this guy just from the few times I have seen him.

yup, definitely would have been interesting to see this happened

prior to Nov. 2.

not sure where Tyner truly stands politically, but does seem to lean libertarian, especially as far as civil RIGHTS are concerned. that's good enough for me.)

more the freedom activists, the merrier!

always find it funny though, if you read the critical comments on his site, most sheeple delude he did this intentionally.

I guess the whole notion of normal average every day American, whom otherwise were minding his business and not completely aware of the growing ubiquity of the police state in Amerika, but one day, by chance, the tyranny eventually caught up with him, and is FORCED to confront it: one's own personal dignity and defending personal RIGHTS vs. acquiescing to tyranny for the mere convenience of expedient airline boarding process?

so he acted, with conscience. and the rest of these MondayMorning-Keyboarders feigned an uproar, as if he PLANNED to do this all along. sad psychology really.

I always find it odd, in fact ALIEN, to see sheeple Amerikans that go out of their way to criticize REAL courage, especially when given the opportunity, those same critics would't have ANY balls to stand up for themselves in similar situations.

Hero envy, courage envy, perhaps? Don't know, but it truly is a sick psychosis of some kind.
