I need help putting RP on public access television!!!
Yes, that's right kiddos, I'm getting our man Ron Paul on local public access!!! It's been an idea long in coming but Santa is being nice this year it seems and so he'll be leaving me with just enough of what it takes to make a really kick ass show promoting Ron Paul and the rEVOLution!!!
So here's what I need from you.
First, I need ideas. I want to here any and all suggestions that every single one of you have for what to be put on the show. I'll post up soon the idea that I have referencing specific videos from youtube and other things i'm throwing in there. But once I have all of the necessary equipment, I'm going to move real fast on this as time is not a friend just yet! So give me some creative input, asap.
Also, there is a stipulation for getting a timeslot on public access tv if you're not a community organization. That stipulation is that you must submit three (3) full shows, of whatever length you are requesting either 1/2 hour or full hour, and then you will get a time slot. So it will take some time to get three full shows put together as I want to do a full hour segment, but we'll see once i start the project if it's more realistic doing just 1/2 an hour.
HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN!!!
Once i have three full episodes of the show ready to go and be submitted to comcast, I personally will only be allowed one time slot with the material. BUT, but, but, but, someone else can take the same material as I have, or even something slightly altered as to make it technically different, and that OTHER person can run their own "Ron Paul Show" on their own time slot. Then, ANOTHER person can do the same thing and so on and so forth until we have enough time slots filled with Ron Paul endorsements that most people who watch television and flip through channesl while doing so will come across our stuff, and learn ALL ABOUT RON PAUL!!!
Do you see the big picture here? We can play by the rules and get FREE ADVERTISEMENT time, locally, for our guy Ron Paul.
Note also that once I finish my show, I will be submitting to people in all other cable districts in Illinois and thorughout the country and ortganize them getting the show put on as well.
The campaign has recently taken the sage advise of creating an infomercial for RP and airing it in Iowa, well let's do that ACROSS THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES!!! AND FOR FREE!!!
So, there's the best idea I've come up with this week, folks, now send me yours to help the show. . .

I would LOVE to see
something that INFORMS. Take example the war and how much it costs,
how much money shows up missing. How the Fed is a cartel and prints money out of thin air. Give REAL information something the MSM doesn't do.
Show voting records how consistent are Congress voting to what they run on when campaigning. EDUCATE people to what the CONSTITUTION says and how it relates the them in their ordinary lives. People will pay attention to any thing that will affect them. There are so many great Ron Paul songs out there to have a bit of music mixed in would be great. MONEY, money, money news that helps the ordinary person understand how the markets are being manipulated and how our national debt affects them. I think this is a fantastic idea and not just a Ron Paul thing. This is a movement of TRUTH people united to reclaim what belongs to everyone FREEDOM.

this nomination. You have to make it pertinent to the common man or he thinks it's typical Washington BS that he has no control over and it will all work out in the end so who cares...I'll just vote on appearances. We have to make them feel the necessity of change NOW or else
What about setting
a scene with two people sitting in comfy leather chairs next to a fireplace discussing Ron Paul and why he should be our next president, then cutting to clips from videos of Ron Paul and interviews with Ron Paul supporters where they explain why they support Ron Paul.
After all, Ron Paul is the best spokesperson for Ron Paul, because once people hear him speak they become believers and supporters.
This would be great to shoot for across country blitz around Super Tuesday.

I'm sure there are hundreds of Pubic Access stations across the country. This could spread like a "money bomb."
What's the demographic
on PBS. I assume older Gen X and Babyboomers So something that would appeal to that crowd. People in that age group , families be the focus instead of college age. I've watched quite a few programs and read press where they describe the Paul Revolution as college age rebellion. I would think we would want to redirect the thinking and make it pertinent to the PBS demographic.

Not PBS, public access television. It's a public outlet that is free and required by law. Although some states have ended it due to corporate takeovers and such. . .But anyway, it's free and uncensored. You can literally put anything on there.
We have some shows on by me that are full of profanity, lewdness, drug use, interviews with pornstars, and all sorts of ill type stuff.
The demographic I'm going for is American. By that I mean I'm going to hit all sorts of angles, hopefully, and appeal to the masses. We'll see how it goes as the primaries are coming up fast and I want to have this on air atleast two weeks before Super Tuesday.
So, I need angles to cover, ideas, ideas, ideas!!!

That would be perfect, just ask people:
1. Who they are voting for
2. Why?
3 Depending on their answer you ask:
If they know of a candidate that has never voted to raise taxes or unbalanced budget?
Ask people if they know that there is a candidate that still upholds the constitution? (if you are really doing it right, some people will be like Constitution?!? What's that! i.e. Rudy, Romney and the rest of the gang)

It would be completely original content for an original cause.
It would be hillarious and very motivational for people to WAKE UP on camera! I'd watch it!

No dirty tricks here... but...
It's OK to ask a somewhat leading question because the public is so used to the standard lines used by "reporters". Here's an example: "How upset were you when you discovered the hospital had reversed your feet instead of removing your ingrown toenail?"... or "How long have you been beating your wife?"

Well yeah, I'm not saying
Well yeah, I'm not saying being sneaky or anything, but to really get accurate answers out of people in a very short interaction takes some skill. Honesty in response is a strong goal for this segment and someone versed in NLP or some other form of whatever you would call that sort of thing would be a good person to do it with, and fast.
"Would you support a candidate that votes by the constitution?"
"Do believe a politician should deny money from lobbyists?"
"Should a politician have the public's interest in mind, and live up to that instead of just lying to get in office?"
Then a kicker:
"Can you think of a politician that fits that bill, you know, an honest one?"
"No? Okay, now imagine what it would be like to have a politician in government, maybe event he White House, that is honest, that upholds the Constitution, that isn't corrupted by money. Imagine right now what that would be like for you. . ."
"Okay. Now, that politician you rhetorically thought of in your head exists. He's not what you'd think, but everything you described. . ."
You see? I'm not that great at it, but when I say leading I mean something like that. You're getting honest responses out of people without turning them off and alerting their BS signals.

I have done a show on cable
I have done a show on cable access myself- different agenda( corruption in the courts) and what I did that was good is went around with a camera ( it will take 2 people, 1 to interview and one to shoot film) and interview people then edit it and use your best interviews and get your talking points in. this would accomplish 2 things, you could tell new people about RP and make a fun show to watch.
A good question would be
1 Who are you voting for?
Why are you voting for them?
by what measure should a president be judged if he did a good job?
in these questions it will show how ignorant most people are and in your talking points you can say a president should only be measured by how well he follows the constituion. we should pick our friends because they are nice funny, blah blah blah, but the president should be judged by the oath he takes, if he has character and a nice guy, well thats even better.
When you listen to the old media they say things like "he really sounded good, didnt he sound strong tonight" who cares!!! voting records and consitancy are all that counts. there thats a hour show. have fun link us with whatever you do, good luck

Yeah I've got a bit of a line on this. My idea is to get a couple different people going around talking to people like say in a mall or something, and the questions are all along the lines of getting the person to describe their ideal candidate, or rather, what they think a politician should be like. The questions will be open ended but some of them leading. It's my belief that most people will describe Ron Paul by simply describing their ideal politician, and that is when we drop the Ron Paul bomb on them.
Im looking for a local supporter who is operational in NLP as that would increase the effectiveness of the whole interview tenfold. I mean, imagine, we get the person to kinesthetically experience in a small time what it would be like to have an honest politician in the White House, we get the person feeling real good about that, and then we anchor it with Ron Paul!!! It's not only priceless in person, it's good television!!!
