Taliban Leader in Secret Talks Was an Impostor

“It’s not him,” said a Western diplomat in Kabul intimately involved in the discussions. “And we gave him a lot of money.”

If

this story is indeed true, it is a sad reflection of the mess that has been created over there.

First we have Taliban in Texas, meeting with the shrubs.

Then we supposedly have high ranking AQ, wining and dining in the Pentagon.

Now they are supposedly paying high ranking Tali's to come and meet with them.

It is like some kind of sick circus sideshow.

I thought it was the policy of this Govt. to NEVER negotiate with terrorists, or to give into their demands.

That must be incorrect, since the "terrorists" supposedly attacked us because we are free and prosperous. Now our freedoms vanish by the day, and our prosperity is on the chopping block.
