"If you rob people of their identity, if you rob them of their democracy then all they are left with is nationalism and violence. I can only hope and pray that the Euro project is destroyed by the markets before that really happens."

BumP: IMO, Nigel Farage is the Ron Paul of Europe

The looks on the faces of everyone listening tells the story of this speech. The importance was inversely proportional to their sour expressions.

The difference between this speech and one by Ron Paul in the House is the number of people present for this one.

Great post.

Sounds about right

Although, I do think Nigel's English is a little better lol

I wish we had someone in our country with this much courage,

But wait a minute, we do, his name is Ron Paul.

But a great speech by Nigel, and after they introduce him, the person says Freedom and Democracy, must be Nigel's party?

Thanks for posting.

Powerful! Our EuroGovernment was

created in 1865 after a bloody conflict between brothers motivated by outsiders/thiefs. It too is falling apart and I will celebrate when it does...It will only be then that we can rid our country of the "den of vipers", "traitors", "carpet baggers", "thieves", and (did I say) "traitors!"

"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is argument of tyrants. It is the creed of slaves." William Pitt in the House of Commons November 18, 1783
"I know major allies who fund them" Gen. Dempsey referring to ISIS

Powerful speech

But yeah I think the Eurozone is a lost cause and will be dead in a few years..the question is to me, what will happen to the EU and the replacement of the Euro.

Europe just won´t work together, it´s not the same people, culture, language...pretty much nothing is the same..I guess that is why they hurry so...here we just got the EU membership into our Constitutional Law. I still think it will fail. I think they overreached and as a result all will fail in the end.

They propably thought it would be a cake walk, but to many people now listen/read alex jones, bob chapman and others in the alternative media worldwide, it won´t work anymore.

We know what they are up to and we will tell everyone.

Thanks for your insights and keep us posted if you are from yonder that way.

If it boils down to currencies...the mark, francs, lira, etc. would be back imo. I really do not see the difficulty with this. They have already been there. ie. competing currencies again.

Just means there will be more bi-lateral relations again. I think trade would improve greatly filling the vacuum left by the controlled trade of the EU administrators. ie. lower overhead because of less red-tape.

donvino

that was something

I think that is one of the most passionate speeches I have ever heard of a living person in my lifetime.

It is almost too overwhelming to comprehend the magnitude of the situation after this speech.

Europe as it is, is definitely a lost cause imo. They will have no money left over for defense unless Europe goes total authoritarian.

Art & Technics

"Gerald's knowledgeable comment regarding the role of art in the process of renewal was, most likely, not intended to be a recommendation to buy art, or to find an artist to date (both, still not bad ideas), but rather a reference to the key foundational concept of art & technics (time, order, innovation and human energy = art). Imbalances between creative elements and the human-less automated model, a god slave complex, have been the downfall of great civilizations."

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

Hmmm,

interesting times we live.

great speech. Love his

great speech. Love his passion.

May I quibble?

Love this speech BUT he states that the EU is not allowing democracy in Ireland. Well, I wouldn't wish democracy on my worst enemy. Democracy leads to tyranny.

" . . . with their 'bunker" mentality

So true.
And we end up with "fox hole" foods and decimated lands and broken hearts.
Support the development of small family farm communities and local energy sources.
In the cities, support "victory gardens", local farmers markets and "network" marketing.
Nigel is the "Ron Paul" of England, and that's significant.
Can you name a few more in the European Union that know that agree with Nigel and Ron and further are intuitive that the earth is a living, breathing entity?

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

"and further are intuitive that the earth is a living...

breathing entity"...

this is a great fact and it should be pointed out that almost all freedom loving and sovereign Americans understand this fully

we can work well within this "system" of beliefs and still be nationalits!

we don't need the nwo backed UN dictating RULES to us

let the UN try dictating some rules in china and korea and then request an audience with us

Your statement is worthy of it's own thread. Nice comment.

And George Galloway has passion and intent with clarity. Powerful speaker.
