I'd Call This Financial" WAR"!

Thanks for the video, I'm going to pass it on in the hopes that "ALL" American taxpayers can see clearly what the Fed does with taxpayer money !

RP and FED

Has the Federal Reserve ever mislead Ron Paul or Americans?

...Is the Pope German?

donvino

In Bernankes mind he is

In Bernankes mind he is technically right.

An emergency loan is not a "bailout" even though by all accounts it is...remember thats Bernankes mindset...not mine. He will just say that it is a loan and it will be re-paid with interest.

Either that or they had yet to have lent the IMF the money to bailout Greece at the time of this hearing.

YES !

Dr Paul asked Bernanke Where the TARP money went, and Bernanke said, "he didn't know".

Here is where some of it went:

A better question:

Has Bernanke EVER told the truth to Ron Paul?

Yes!

That IS the question.

“The most important element of a free society, where individual rights are held in the highest esteem, is the rejection of the initiation of violence.” Dr. Ron Paul

"After 5 years we produce complete transcripts..."

I've read a lot of emotive responses here but I have yet to see anyone demonstrate that Bernanke was lying when he said that complete transcripts were published of all of the meetings after 5 years.

If you read nothing else, read this: A Contract Between Americans

Could be

because it's not the meat of the thread, or of Dr. Paul's discussion.

Why isn't it the meat of the discussion?

It seems that the transcripts of the meetings should contain all substantive information regarding Fed actions. If they do not, then it would indicate yet another layer of abrogation of duty -- this time not from Congress to the FR board, but from the FR board to the Chair himself.

Is that what people are implicitly talking about?

If you read nothing else, read this: A Contract Between Americans

the real issue here is that

the real issue here is that Bernake can sit there and say that... we ALL know his is a liar... but because of the RULE of Loa... He can get away with it. The Supreme Court is just about loaded with complete and TOTAL insanity... Thus, the eventuality WILL result in the collapse of the corporation... or ALMOST... MOST likely another bigger corporation will come by and BUY the failing one... The UN-tied States... And guess who it's indentured servants are? citizens of the UNITED STATES... NOT... Citizen of the various States... The Civil War was about the corporation taking over and the total and complete loss of individual sovereignty... Check your CON inSTITUTION... 14th AmendMENT... Before that AMENdment... we were Citizens of the various States... SINCE... we have been citizens... human beings... aka "monsters" to the CORPSErations... They do it ALL by Law... Lwa... Loas... which ARE demons of the voodoo re-legion. Groups of Lwas are called Nanchons... Thus.. Laws of the Nation are in ACTUALITY... Loas of the Nanchon... Etheric INVISIBLE (to us) energetic lifeFORMS... they can exist at the cellular level with intellect... just as ALL life can...

I suppose that is it for now... please let me know if you have any question... confirmation is not neccessary... what I just typed is TRUE... as far as I could tell... But I am just a HU-man...

Good

question for Joe to ask Dr. Paul on Thursday. See Dr Paul on Morning Joe: http://twitter.com/MorningJoeguest/statuses/9962060402139136

Please enjoy, "RON PAUL And All That Jazz"

Central Pa, Lycoming County, Williamsport

That would be awesome...

!

At 2:42 in the tape:

Ron Paul:
"Would you grant that the American people have a right to know whether the Federal Reserve has been involved with this, and what kind of shenanigans they're involved with foreign countries and foreign central banks...?

Bernanke:
"Well, Congressman, I, uh, these specific allegations you've made I think are absolutely bizarre, and I have absolutely no knowledge of anything remotely like what you just described..."

Now were some of those banks released today "foreign central banks'? Zero Hedge (Tyler Durden) says YES:

"Meet the 35 Foreign Banks That Got Bailed Out By The Fed (and this is just the CPFF Banks)"
"One may be forgiven to believe that via its FX liquidity swap lines the Fed only bailed out foreign Central Banks, which in turn took the money and funded their own banks. It turns out that is only half the story: we now know the Fed also acted in a secondary bail out capacity, providing over $350 billion in short term funding exclusively to 35 foreign banks, of which the biggest beneficiaries were UBS, Dexia and BNP...."

Seems like a lie to me. But that's not all - he called Ron Paul's allegations "absolutely bizarre" - which really bothered me at the time. I doubt he was under oath... anyone know? Regardless, I'm sure Ron Paul is going to call him out on this next time. Hopefully, it will be Chairman Ron Paul by then.

Thanks for posting this Lao Tzua

The next time the two meet, Dr. Paul will have a little more power than at this meeting.

It is cut off in this video, but I recall that at the end of this exchange, Barney Frank promised to look into Dr. Paul's "bizarre" allegations, which are all factually documented in the book Deception and Abuse at the Fed: Henry B. Gonzalez Battles Alan Greenspan's Bank by Robert D. Auerbach, which can be purchased at Barnes & Noble.

Thank you, Michael.

It was that "bizarre" comment that really, really pissed me off and stuck in my craw (and my memory).

Thanks for all you do for us, Michael. I'd like to order one of your beautiful RP t-shirt designs in a child size. Any chance? That doesn't seem to be an option as of yet on Zazzle... :)

Michael Nystrom's picture

Bizarre

Yeah, that bizarre line really was annoying.

Did Barney Frank ever follow up? Do you remember that part? Anything ever come of it? That's the problem of putting other people in charge of this kind of stuff. Hopefully RP will be able to get to the bottom of it in the next Congress.

Re: Zazzle. I looked at the store, and I see an option for kids & toddler's sizes...

glad you brought this up.

i meant to start a thread about this.
it's time to hold barney's feet to the fire.

If you watch the end of this...

you'll hear what Barney Frank said - it does seem somewhat condescending and/or sarcastic:

Thanks re: the t-shirts.

Michael Nystrom's picture

Thanks for that

Did you see the look on Ron Paul's face? What Frank said was a complete surprise to him.

Maybe it was just vapor on Frank's part, or maybe the Fed came back and squashed it.

At any rate, like I said, Paul's allegations are well documented in the book:

Deception and Abuse at the Fed: Henry B. Gonzalez Battles Alan Greenspan's Bank by Robert D. Auerbach

'Always be yourself. Everyone else is taken.' - Oscar Wilde

Yes, I noticed it...

I think Barney was just "moving his lips". I never heard of him follow up on any of those issues.

I just want to hear RP say to Bernanke next time: "Did you say my allegations were "bizarre" and you had "absolutely no knowledge of anything remotely like" them?" That will be sweet.
