..."Columbia University’s Office of Career Service is said to have passed around an email warning students that if they READ WikiLeaks or MAKE COMMENTS related to the releases it would render them ineligible for any government jobs in the future, based on a warning sent by a former student working at the State Department.
State Department spokeswoman Nicole Thompson insisted the warning wasn’t an official Department directive but added that MAKING PUBLIC COMMENTS or posting links to WikiLeaks content wasn’t “a good move for any US citizen.”

for what its worth at least they warned them. The tuition there must be a fortune.
If it is such a threat, why it there not a presidential address and action pertaining to it? There was for the flu virus for example.

The Obama administration is banning hundreds of thousands of federal employees from calling up the WikiLeaks site on government computers because the leaked material is still formally regarded as classified.
The Library of Congress tonight joined the education department, the commerce department and other government agencies in confirming that the ban is in place.

Has anyone filed FOIA request for leaked documents?
Freedom of Information Act: 1984 Has anyone made a request?
Should it be one request for all documents?
Or should it be 250,000 individual requests for 250,000 individual documents with at least one in each Federal Court.
A quarter million people taking a stand for their release might help down the road.

All cannabis advocates made this decision in the late 60's
The "establishment" commanded that activist would not get jobs in government, medicine, law enforcement, child care/caregiving, jobs in financial districts, airlines, factories and a multitude of other "careers".
If you advocate or use it only once, it is held against you as a tool of oppression.
Added to the above, if you were apprehended with posession, you could loose all of your property (home, car, bank) and be imprisoned, with some penalties greater than that of murder.
The 60's was about liberty and freedom. The references that the 60's was about socialism does not pertain to the patriots whom made up a generation that saw their human and living things and creatures' enviroment poisoned, cut and burned. (not to be confused with environmental usurpers, called "whacko's and bearucrats)
And those that did get into government, where not of the "love" generation; but were the sand box bullies or severley detached from nature sycophantic with money as their god.
(support your local cannabis grower; they are not main stream socialist; activist and growers are "in your face" patriots that have felt prosecution's thumb of thuggary for over 40 years)
