CNN poll: Landline vs. No Landline

0 votes

On the CNN.com main page, about half-way down on the right side, there is a poll for whether you still use a landline or not. Let's help back-up Ron's assessment of the inaccurate "national polls" the media loves so much.

No, I don't

bump this as many need to chime in. Long time ago gave up the land line since (a) I don't need it rarely being at home and (b) when I had it, it seemed only telemarketers called me, while friends and family called my cell phone...lol.

Pose this question on any college campus and see what results you get. Then poll those same college students as to which Presidential candidate they are supporting .

It's a stupid poll question

I have a land line phone - but we don't answer it - UNLESS the caller ID identifies the caller as someone we know. My Husband voted Repulican in the last Primaries, we could very well have been called several times by pollsters, but we wouldn't know it, because we don't answer the phone unless it's our family or friends.

Do you KNOW how to become a Delegate for Ron Paul? -- Do it!

that's great!

It isn't a scientific poll and I think if you only answer depending on what the call display says... I think that would qualify as a 'no landline' answer!

Yup - same here

"Many of us agree that you and I have no right to use coercion against people who don't owe us anything. The same prohibition applies to groups of people who constitute the government. The reason is simple: unjust acts do not become just when legalized."
