I really hope RP supporters are not doing this

What Would Ron Paul Do?

I just perused some of the comments below, and I am dismayed at so much mean-spiritedness. My first thought is These CAN'T be Ron Paul supporters; they're too hateful, too irrational, and Dr. Paul ALWAYS speaks his message with love and rationality.

My second thought is If these ARE actual Ron Paul supporters, they need to listen to what the good doctor says and and does and try to emulate him. He sets a very high standard of behavior, and those of us who don't live up to that standard only hurt him and his campaign.

For those of you who AREN'T plants from someone else's campaign, who really are Ron Paul supporters who are angry and frustrated: I completely understand. It's very hard to watch the best presidential candidate in many decades be consistently marginalized by the media. It's frustrating as heck to see how ignorant Americans are to the realities that Dr. Paul speaks of and how they refuse to listen. More than once I've felt like heaving a very heavy object through the TV picture tube.

But you absolutely MUST NOT take that anger out on other candidates' supporters. Try to understand that as passionately as you feel about Dr. Paul, they probably feel just as passionately about their candidate.

You can't hate everyone who doesn't "get" what Dr. Paul is saying. It requires something of a paradigm shift to even understand what he says, much less believe that his policies will work.

Put love in your heart and keep on doing whatever you feel needs to be done to get Dr. Paul nominated, then elected. It would be best to never denigrate the other candidates; just talk up Ron Paul, and some will get it and most won't. But at least you've put the word out there.

Please try to always remember that this is a LOVE revolution, and act accordingly.

Hear! Hear!

Hucks Army

The letter to Ron Paul supporters is in its self offensive.Refering to Nazi like tactics? Who thought that AIDS patients should be quarantined. Someone graduated from Aldof University.Did they draft a letter to Rudy or Mitts supporters?

This OF COURSE will be the newsworthy story about Dr. Paul

Normally when they refer to us we are "The Mysterious Internet" that Ron Paul is "big on" but for this they will say what we really are by saying: "Ron Paul Supporters Sabotage Huckabee fundraising"

How does one make "fake pledges"?

Are they really just saying that people emailed them and gave them a little grief for supporting a fascist and in doing so the emails started off by saying; 'I pledge a million dollars to the Huckster'? Is this the kind of "fake pledges' they are talking about?

www.ronpaullibrary.org
Where is the Rudy Library and the Mitt Library. Has anyone found them? Do we even know if they can write?

If you were concerned .why

If you were concerned .why would you start this thread?
Only provides one comprehensive thread for huck supporters to read about Paul supporters doing this..

Of course they are

How many of us have had to have that conversation with members of our meet-ups? It goes nowhere. You have to walk that line of discouraging the devoted or allowing it to go on. Just because they might be doing more than some of us doesn't mean they are having a more positive impact on the movement so don't let that point keep you from calling them on it.

I'm getting real tired of allowing it to go on. I've been duped by that quick agreement they give that things need to stay on track and then they go right back to it. I'm not treating them with kid gloves anymore. If they get discouraged, that's fine. Our meet-up has never been as productive as it has been since our previously most active member said FU to us all and quit. They are hurting the movement and their actions are indistinguishable from the actions of the plants from other campaigns they accuse level headed people of being when they are admonished.

LIBRE_RANGER ADMITS IT - scroll down and read for yourselves

Here are quotes and an admission from one of the perps by the name of libre_ranger - scroll down and read for yourself!

"and I aint gonna pay a dime. Huck's army can kiss my *#$##. I hate those people. Those narrow minded crazies who got us in this stupid war are behind him. Those bigoted fools who are destroying our economy are behind him. This is war. If I am not allowed to have a sense of humor about their stupid fundraiser for more fascism, I'd rather die than live as their vassals."

and then he followed up with this reply...

"We are angry and we are cynical. The status quo is the pits and we are not going to take it any more. Huck's "army" better get used to it. They are the ones that started all this *#$# with all the horrible things said about Ron Paul on townhall website. They are the worst scum of the earth. If you believe their line, Paul is a pimp nazi rascist."

"Sometimes revolutions need blood! This is nothing. All we did was make fake pledges. So what! I "pledged" $666."

All I have to say to this idiot is that we don't need uneducated, radical dimwits like you - go get lost!

Simmer down

Simmer down.

Geeze....

Heil Huck !

" who give the very idea of freedom a bad name because of the way they abuse it. You may liken yourselves to American revolutionaries, but your behavior is more reminiscent of Nazi tactics --"

Giving Freedom a Bad Name? The Way we Abuse IT? Sounds like this guy is the Nazi who has absolutely no idea of the Real American Revolution or of the Nazi's.

It was the Christians who supported Hitler. The Nazi's had "God is on our side on their beltbuckles'.

Just like Huckabee suggesting that "God is on his side"..

Huck is just like Hitler.,.. In Fact, one of the first things Hitler did was outlaw smoking.

Heil Huck the Christian Hitler!! Heil Huck! Heil Huck! Zig Heil Huck...

Complete BS..... Huckabees supporters are doing this themselves.

Could be an inside job

How do we know there were false pledges made? I didn't make any false pledge because I know I don't have to, their money bombs will all be money duds! And we as a group could infiltrate their entire website and make it a pro-Ron Paul site if we wanted to! But we live and let live in peace, prosperity and freedom.

sounds like the work of

sounds like the work of hardcore and/or overzealous national healthcare advocates.

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for James Madison.

False flag operation.

This post and the info provided on the link above have all the hallmarks of a false flag operation. These methods are used to sow discontent and division, ignore this non-sense.

Look at who benefits...

It certainly isn't the Ron Paul campaign. It appears to me that it is the work of Ron Paul opponents masquerading as Ron Paul supporters. Moreover, the fact that they identify themselves as supporters by including phrases such as "Vote for Ron Paul", strongly suggests the opposite is true. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows that calling Mike Huckabee names can't hurt him but certainly will hurt Ron Paul if the name-calling comes from a Paul supporter. I think that is obviously the motive behind these smear attacks. Ron Paul's opponents are the ones who benefit.

As to Acala's suggestion that we ban those individuals who admit to doing these things, I am tempted to agree; but I wonder if it isn't better to let them stay where we can keep a watchful eye on what they are up to, now that we know what they are capable of.

Wasnt me but screw them.

Wasnt me but screw them. Huck keeps bitting off of Ron Paul and now hes even bitting off of his Foreign policy ideas.. I couldnt care less

Sure wasn't me

But I would like to say that when your number of supporters is large, spammers are nothing more than a little irritation. Drowned out by real support.

conversely, when your support base is much smaller and unmotivated, every spammer stands out like a sore thumb.

sour grapes, if you ask me

Clearly it was the paid Romney supporters

who were doing this and trying to cover their tracks. Ron Paul supporters would never stoop that low.

No Ron Paul supporter...

should ever sink to the depths of attacking someone else's efforts. If we can't win this thing on our merits then why bother? We'll be no better than the slanderous machine that we are all so adamantly opposed to.

it was a double posting

Joesph Goebbels would be proud of Brett Harris.

This is nothing more than propaganda from Brett Harris because he knows his fund raising effort is going to fail. Apparently he feels the need to do some damage control and blame others for his failures. The fact that he calls Ron Paul supporter "NAZIS" completely discredits him and the Huckabee campaign.

So much for their righteousness.

It sounds like Clinton and

It sounds like Clinton and anti-religious people to me, not us. Some of the Clinton people that I have spoken with here in town are ready to do almost anything, including aggression, to make sure that no Bush-like person wins. Bush Must Go people lost in '04 and they're still pissed.

The Fredheads

Fredheads on another site accused RP supporters of doing the same to them on "giving day", a day before Thanksgiving. Said it was us spamming the website.

I do think giving day was a failure based on their own candidate. I do hope it had nothing to do with us.

Huckelberry has another drive on Christmas day. Crazy for a pastor to raise money on such a day. Hopefully it fails, but I will not and hope others will not disrupt their day.

Hunter is having one coming up too. He is encouraging his supporters to raise 25K, yes, 25K in 24 hours.

These guys are going to fail on their own. We do not need to help them.

GEAUX RON PAUL 2012.

I was just going to bring this up

Fred Thompson's campaign accused us of the same thing! I'm starting to think the people who say these are just tactics used by the Thompson and Huckabee campaigns to try to make us look bad are correct, especially since there's been no specific examples cited.

Why is it

Why is the Ron Paul campaign and support network always the ones that are accused of spam, botnots, hacking, etc....? We are being accused even by our fellow supporters now?! We are in a campaign with some of the most corrupt & lieing politicians to ever come down the pike. Why would you not think it one of their campaigns? Why would you think that "HucksArmy" wouldn't be trying to pull a fast one on us? Why would the guy need to mention "dispicible sex acts" ?

This reminds me of when I was a kid. My sister and I would be riding in our car in the back seat. If my sister was mad at me or I was getting more attention, she would scream and start fake crying. My Mom or Dad would would get pissed AT ME! No matter how much I said, "I didn't do anything", in their eyes I did. I got in trouble or my butt tanned more than once for her fake accusations. This HucksArmy letter is nothing more than them acting like little bratty kids. This is a feint attack.

I aint buying into it. So what if a few jokesters went there and pedged, is this the whole reason their fundraising is failing? How many fake pledges did we get for Nov 5 or Dec 16? How many fake pledges did the RP Blimp get? Did any of our people get all bent out of shape and start throwing accusations around? No, we soldiered on and worked harder!

Stick together! As we get more popular and we show high voting in early states this is going to get dirty! Politics is not for the light hearted or thin skinned. You folks aint seen nothin' yet. Some of you better toughen up and get ready. We have not yet begun the real fight.

Strap in tight, this is gonna be a helluva ride!

I love rides! =D

I love rides! =D

You can't adjust the wind,

You can't adjust the wind, simply adjust the sails. We have no control over others actions... whether they are actual Paul supporters, supporters of other campaigns posing as Paul supporters or people simply trying to stir up trouble. There is no way to really know one way or another.

All each of us can do is behave the way we believe is in the best interest of Dr. Paul and 'encourage' others to do the same.

All of our actions reflect on the campaign.

And if it is RP supporters, and they can link it, they WILL use it against us. As they have nothing else to use. let's make sure no one gives them something PLEASE.

Blaming others for their failures…

Fred, Huckabee and others have ALL tried to copy our money bomb successes and the attempts have ended in total failure. When these fools fail, they point fingers of blame. I know the Fred supporters blamed us as well when their bomb blew up in their face.

Remember when our blimp pledges were well over $400 K and then we found out later that 75% of the pledges were bogus? Then we had to scramble like mad to get the blimp airborne at the last minute? Who made these bogus pledges? The same with our money bombs. How many of those pledges were bogus? Just because the real pledges overwhelmed the bogus pledges does not make it right.

One last thing. A common denominator of all these money bomb wannabe sites is that they let the pledges designate dollar amounts, up to and exceeding the maximum. Personally, I think these things are set-ups to try to make Paul supporters look bad. It's all phony baloney.

The Huckaboo's Huckleheads feeble attempt at duplicating our successes will fall on its butt (like all the others) without any attempt on our part to sabotage it. So they can take one pointing blame finger and stick it up their butt and the other in their mouth and play "switch". I'm sick of their insinuations.

"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Samuel Adams

“Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality”

Your right, it may have been them.

but they will not win with those tactics. and neither will we.

This sort of uncivil stupid nonsense will

certainly come back to haunt the RP campaign. If you have ANY idea how a caucus works, and the looooooong memory people will have for this then make no mistake about it, the idiots doing this have knifed their own cause.

h-daddy

fiscal responsibility

Why do they take "pledges". If they want to copy us....don't take pledges just credit card numbers ...then they would be able to weed out fake support immediately. The Ron Paul campaign is fiscally responsible...maybe Huckabee should imitate that too.

With that said I think that anyone who would make a false pledge is totally immature and should stop.

It is interesting though that with all of the "support" Huckabee has he still seems to be having trouble raising funds.
