one thing is certain....

ay least in my mind.. and that certainty is that ron paul will not rush to issue subpeonas to the banks .. the fed.. I believe he will be more deliberate than most poeple are expecting him to be.. that will be a plus .. he must show deliberate and constant scrutiny ..

Beware of Napolitano...

Would you rather have Ron Paul chair a minor, soon to be toothless, committee, and spend all your time cheering the vague news emanating from the dark news recesses of foggy bottom DC??... or would you rather have President Ron Paul, with all it's power, so difficult for the media to ignore???

Wake up folks... time, money, and manpower, are short and precious!

Let the committees be what they may be. If you spend the rest of the year crowing about this tactical move of the CFR to keep us disorganized and behind the eight ball for the nomination process, talking until the committees even begin to meet if at all... they will have won the battle... again... the same way as before!

During the last campaign, he

During the last campaign, he ran for President, and his house seat, and showed up to work. Don't underestimate him.

Janet Napolitano, I presume.

Janet Napolitano, I presume.

Ron won't run for president

I don't know this for sure because of insider info, but I'm willing to put money on that bet.

Small wins lead to big victories.

Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come. Ron Paul will run for President again and we will all help him spread the ideas of freedom and liberty.

Some people are never happy

Ron Paul has been positioning himself for this role quietly for decades and it has FINALLY happened.

Don't underestimate the power of direct subpoena of the Fed that Dr. Paul now wields.

Domestic Monetary Policies Subcommittee??? WTF?

Has anyone ever seen a Domestic Monetary Policies Subcommittee meeting?

SteveMT's picture

The talk is that Ron Paul will call many more meetings....

than had been held in past. No more rubber-stamping of the Fed policies. They will be called often to making an accounting of their actions with Ron Paul calling the shots. That what will change and soon.

Mike

don't you remember those sub committee meetings a few months or so ago when Tom Woods was testifying?

Mel Watt (B of A shill) was the Chair - remember?

This is THAT committee. Now the Chairman will be Ron.
They will be on C SPAN.

And this time I'm sure it will be more often and get more play.

Ron's gonna stir things up.

Ron Paul is My President

I Can't Wait To See Ron Paul Up On The Dais Platform,,

With the Gavel in his hand telling Mr. Bernenke to produce previous Fed transactions, or face "CONTEMPT" charges.
Thanks for the news sunny.

beesting

Me either bee,

and what a difference it's gonna be now. Wow!

He'll take it to the max cuz he knows the stuff that is needed to know.

Ron Paul is My President

Well, I hope RP will be able

Well, I hope RP will be able to change the meaning of this Subcommittee to something completely different than what it has been.

AWESOME NEWS! Congratulations

AWESOME NEWS! Congratulations Dr. Paul.

Now Dr. Paul can say...

As far as personalities go..

Dr. Paul is the exact opposite of Andrew Jackson, but their hearts are in the same place :)

Awesome news! Go RP!

Awesome news! Go RP!

Hell to pay!

They had no real choice but to finally allow Dr. Paul to Chair the committe. If they didn't "they" would have restarted Dr. Paul's revolution to the 5th power, so they figure give him the position and try to restrain his influence. OHHH, CNN hasn't even announced his appointment yet!!!!! Unreal!

Congrats'

Bacchus did a pretty good job of drilling Geithner and Bernanke.

...last year during hearings regarding the bailouts.

He really hit them hard and I liked his tone.

So maybe Dr. Paul WILL get this post, but I'm not getting overly excited until well into January.

But so far so good.

The conservative arm of the TEA Party may arrive just in time to make some changes.

But the real question is...can they abolish the immoral/unconstitutional federal income tax???

Not so fast. Bachus gave RP

Not so fast. Bachus gave RP an oral commitment. And oral commitments are not worth the paper they're printed on. :-)

I'll be holding my breath until the thing is formally a done deal in January.

But I'll yell a yippy-yahoo now anyway.

Maybe Ron can help Bernanke with his new years resolutions.
