Personally I love when he

Personally I love when he gets hard questions and trick questions like that- it just goes to show he has no problem defending his positions and shows that he is tried and true.

Boy Are They Afraid

They are desperate to find out what RP is going to do with the subcommittee. CNN is clearly a CIA operation. You could tell someone was feeding her questions... like when he made the Wikileaks statement and she blew right by it and then all of a sudden came back with it. The producer thought he had him. That person was wrong.

alot of people that previously disagreed with him are coming around ... even my uncle ... he told me about the book END THE FED and i was like wtf are you kidding me? FROM YOU!? hah

i am really really happy

Gold and Silver Coinage

I think your idea of allowing gold and silver coins to be used as an alternative form of legal tender is excellent.
What is wrong with giving people this freedom of choice?
What is wrong with adopting coinage that will retain its purchasing power in a free market?
What is wrong with having gold and silver coins in circulation as a means to help facilitate transactions in the event of the unthinkable; fiat currencies, which are historically notorious for failure, entering a real crisis?
What is so wrong with the constitutionally mandated gold standard?

Are these really such "scary ideas"? Is the open discussion of these ideas scary? I guess the answers depend on who you ask!

Everyone knows or at least they should by now that gold and silver are the only form of real money (store of value). Indeed Alan Greenspan is on record for saying exactly that! Why does it have to be some big secret! Why is it so critical to hide the truth? Let's open the books. Let's have an audit. Let everyone see what is really going on!

Keep up the great work!

Clueless reporter...

Like many in the lame stream media she treated Ron Paul like he was crazy when he made this truthful claim. December 21st the FCC is beginning the groundwork for total internet regulation, they will use WikiLeaks and false flag cyber attacks to take it over.

I recorded that clip of him

I recorded that clip of him laughing at her when she said the gov't didn't claim responsibility for shutting down wikileaks.....it's a keeper.
also, props to name-dropping NH/Union Leader (not that it's the best paper). Hopefully RP is there! If he is, I am.

Bald man's argument that

Bald man's argument that "politicians should not be exerting influence on fed policy" doesn't hold water.

He's assuming that legislative-executive folks have some sort of tension of ideas with the federal reserve. In fact, the truth is the opposite - they operate side-by-side, hand-in-hand. When has the fed last "resisted government pressure" and done something "austere" that our politicians were unhappy about?

He doesn't get it

RP is not out to have politicians "take over" Fed policy but to abolish this notion of steering the economy and instead set it free.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

He looks like Ben Bernanke

Like the Federal Reserve is independent to begin with!!

All our politicians on both sides seem to work hand in hand with the institution, and they basically hope it will "fix" the economy while fixing their pocket books...

Exactly what I mean....

And they say the American people are stupid....We're catching on Feds!!!!

I think

RP does best when his views are being attacked rather than praised. good interview.

Contact Megan and be sure to ask her what delusional world she lives in, where Ron Paul and other Austrian economists like him did not predict the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. Then, be sure to request Megan produce her own track record of accurate predictions while she's throwing stones.

thank you!

People of her ilk just need to be challenged on where her information and authority comes from!? This is her ignornat take in a nut shell: you, Dr. Paul are too dang smart for me, and we just don't like that! We are ignant of ecernomicals, and most all our political hack buds are too, so you just take that, Mr. Smarty! (picture a scene in the playground). Ugh, that Dr. Paul will have to put up with ignoramices like MS. Megan, infuriates me. He handles her well, but i want to floor her ignant butte!
Thanks for posting her name and other info. She'll be hearing from me.

CNN not-so-subtly implying

CNN not-so-subtly implying that Ron Paul is crazy throughout the piece = mockery of journalism. What a joke of a news network. Is this seriously the best we can do in this country?

"The casualty of partisanship is objectivity."

That's right

I guess old habits die hard and were reverting back to the days of RP hit pieces and cutting him off at every question.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

He should specify

I can see critics saying he's crazy again after they take that statement out of context. I think even some of the most ignorant people realize there's too much money in the internet and it's too useful, even to the government.

I'm sure what he means is the ability to shut down PARTS of the internet at their discretion.

didn't lieberman call amazon

didn't lieberman call amazon and tell them to quit hosting the site?

errrr double post...

errrr double post...

amazing that they try to

amazing that they try to absolve the state in participating in taking down the website or blocking donations.

Yep he did...

That's proof of government interference right there!!

The Senators called it out on national TV, saying Assange should not be up and running & to pull his funding. Like they can just legally do that!
