Um Anybody else have "issues" with the 9pm broadcast of Glen Beck?

0 votes

I live in the Northern Virginia area - first 20 minutes were fine, then it went to a literally 10 minute commercial break for a local theater production which happened LAST WEEKEND. I didn't see the 7pm broadcast. Did this happen? It's back on now, but I'm not sure if anything was cut out. Haven't heard the part about Beck saying he wants to kiss Ron Paul and it's now 30 minutes into the program.

Good for Glenn viewers but not good for showing new people

I think this was very good for showing to the Glenn Beck viewers because a whole lot of new people now know about Ron Paul. So I sent an email thanking him.

But it left a yucky taste in my mouth. I didn't feel good after this like I normally do from RP TV stuff. Don't know if it was the kissing thing, the 911 thing or something else. So I would not show this interview to anyone new that I am teaching about Rron Paul.

COMCAST is the devil.

COMCAST is the devil. Americans should drop them asap. Look into how they have done this to Ron Paul before, then you will be eyes wide open.

Ron Paul 2012

I saw the whole thing twice

I watched at 7 PM and then at 9 PM Est. with my girl friend. She has cablevision and we were able to watch the whole thing. They are still publically owned. I believe the Dolens are trying to make the company private again so who knows what will happen then.

I, too, had the same thing

I, too, had the same thing happen here in NJ (Comcast Cable). This was on regular cable, too. The interview started well enough, but then it went to a long segment of commercials and then a comcast newmakers piece, then more commercials. Then came back for a short peice then went to more commercials and a infomercial on bed and breakfasts. The last three minutes where Paul had full controll to speak his mind never aired. When the programming returned, it went directly into the next program.

Charlottesville VA, had a Comcast news thing

for 10 minutes and then ladies with food for another period. Called Comcast, they had no explanation

Yes. Denver Comcast went to

Yes. Denver Comcast went to an old interview with Bea Romer right after Glen Beck said he would give Ron the last 3-5 minutes. If Comcast did plan for this I am done with them tomorrow. Want change? Don't subscribe to Comcast.

WE ALL OWE GLENN A BIG...

EMAIL FLOODING THANK YOU!!! We need to show him those few who claimed Dr Paul and made those threats are NOT anything close to the masses who support and live by the Good Dr's values.

Dr Paul did great answering that issue and we need to follow suit. Our Champion of the Constitution does not indorse, nor does he tolerate violence or threats of violence.

The interview was reasonable and again, name recognition and air time was yet another 'bomb' dropped in the rEVOLution. A follow-up by Mr Beck saying how many emails he got condeming those few by all of us would do even more for the cause!

Sorry dudes, this was plenty cool....

can't explain your satellite channel...I'm still on the cable pig,,,but tonight the pig paid off...........Ron Paul Rocked....total cool, very good of Glenn Beck..........he's on board (for the moment)....... I had 2 hours of good, clean Beck and Paul!

End of Interview Cut

Yes, I missed the last 3 minutes too! I also think its F*^%ing COMCAST. It was their dirty Sh#$ that appeared on the screen in the form of two old ladies talking about "hosting house guests". That crap was from COMCAST. I guess they don't like Ron Paul's freedom ideas for a free market. Maybe we would have more cable options and lower prices. This whole thing stinks.

No trouble watching the

No trouble watching the interview. I agree with someone below that Glenn Beck isn't skilled in interviewing. That isn't a slam, just an observation.

Glad and thankful Beck allowed RP to speak for an hour, but as was suggested earlier, Ron Paul needs to be a bit more clear about "how" he intends to dismantle Homeland Security, IRS, Dept. of Education, etc.

I agree with his positions as do we all - which explains our raising record sums, but a guy who believes to his core that the IRS must be abolished needs a clear explanation. I haven't heard it yet.

Beck asks a basic question "how do we pay for stuff without IRS?" RP answers with an answer of revenue equal to some 10 years ago. How in the heck does the govt collect [that] revenue if there is no IRS?

When friends ask me these same questions, I need RP and his leadership to clearly lay it out. If he can't sell regular folk out there in between the superbowl and the NCAA National Championship game, then he has no chance of persuading the DEM heavy Congress.

I almost think it is more important to begin recruiting from within our ranks men and women to local, state and nat'l government offices where the liberty/constitution message can actually take root and create substantive change.

No, I have not grown weary and I certainly haven't thrown inthe towel as some here might suggest. But I need more from RP so I can spread the gospel message to others.

ditto

GenBeau Dr. Paul was terrific. A three-run homer. Would have gotten the grand slam but he needs to be completely precise with his numbers. With regards to the Federal budget, exactly how much money do we have, exactly how much do we need, and exactly how are we going to raise it? He seemed surprisingly weak on that. Throwing out general ideas like tariffs without giving examples and being more specific isn't going to cut it. As a side note, Dr. Paul's supporters are his greatest asset, unfortunately the msm will try to make us his biggest liability.

I live in PA and I "heard" and "taped" Glen Beck saying he wants to french kiss Ron Paul..(.LoL) you had to see Ron Paul face after Glen said that..

well glenn

...though i do not doubt the truth that someone threatened your life, i do agree with the assessment that it came from someone touting ron paul's message without adhering to it.

perhaps this individual was "unintended blowback" from your previous commentary with horowitz.

maybe you should change your "foreign policy" glenn, when it comes to speaking about the rEVOLution.

I Just finished watching the program in California

I found it not be a complete interview as it was suppose to be. Glenn rambled on about 9-11 theories and just took up a lot of the time speaking on things that were very irrelavent. I would call it a 30 minute show with Ron Paul minus useless questions and commercials. Glenn should have been seen but not heard.

It's not GB cutting stuff,

I think it is COMCAST.

Great Job Dr Paul...now lets get Pat onboard.

Glenn did what he said, I wonder how balistic his ratings went? I agree it was a little dull and Dr Paul looks, understandably run down.

I am all for Pat Buchanan as a handler. Pat I bet would jump at the chance and be a big help, mabey we get a email drive straight to Pat. Dont wait for orders from headquarters. GET PAT NOW!!!

Yes

I seen the 1st 49 minutes or so. They went to commercials then went to a Comcast News break. Didn't get to see the end. It was cut off. From what I seen the interview was fine. Didn't see Ron Paul saying what he wanted for the future of the country. Or them saying good bye hope all went well.

From NJ

My TV went to these weird ladies talking about home stuff, right before Dr. Paul was supposed to have his three minutes to say whatever he wanted. It freaks me out how it has happened to so many of us,..

COMCAST SUCKS

the same thing happened in Richmond, Virginia! Comcast WAISTED about 20 minutes with commercials about Shakespeare plays and how to run a bed and breakfast! What a joke!

Ummm -Perhaps?

I am in Chicago -Obama Land and if you look at that map where all the donations seem to be coming from IL is not very giving to the good DR. I watched it twice w/no problem....I am wondering if the states where he is doing better based on donations got cut intentionally? (Fl, eastern northern coast etc) Probably I am wrong, but worth noting?

Download info re: threat on his life during commerical break?

Why didn't he download the info before the show started so that Ron Paul could talk to him about it off the air, instead of wasting Ron Paul time on a subject that had nothing to do with his campaign.

I'll admit, I was pleasantly

I'll admit, I was pleasantly surprised by the interview.

No doubt threats against Glenn and his family played a part in this (which is a terrible thing) and he obviously wanted to dispel the notion that he was anti-Paul or anti-Ron Paul supporters. Hopefully the people making these threats will be tracked down by the FBI and arrested. They have no place at the table with genuine Ron Paul supporters.

Again, on a more positive note, the long format interview plays best to Ron's strengths where a nuanced answer is the only way to address a complex question. This is how the Ron Paul Infomercials should play.

Yes. I live in

Yes. I live in philadelphia, and for 10 minutes around 9:20 they showed some silly interview with someone who works for a drug company (it looked like it was meant to be on comcast's CN8 channel) instead beck's show. Then, they cut out the last 10 minutes and showed some similarly silly discussion of bed and breakfasts. I'm a little bit annoyed I didn't get to see how it ended.

No, i can see the youtube

we need to say thank you to glenn beck
this is exactly what wer were looking for

Ron paul needs to be fired up

He needs a person to prep him for these interviews he keeps saying the same thing I understand him but most people won't Glen Beck is the biggest hack he outfoxed Dr. Paul with all his tripe. Ron Paul isnt young he seems like he's tired out I know it's tough but they need a nurse to be giving transfusions keep him on the top of his game. He needs a professional handler the good Dr. needs to Realize that if he's going to win he will need someone like Karl Rove hate to say it . Maybe Pat Buchanon will take the job everybody has one

Im in PA, and I noticed the

Im in PA, and I noticed the same thing... it appears about 10 min of the program was cut out and replaced with some stupid interview thing. And yes it skipped the thing about kissing Ron Paul. And now it skipped the end... Huh, has it ever done this for any of Glen Beck's other rebroadcasts?

my cable went out during the last 10 minutes pa here

Theres a repeat of Glen Beck at 9 but the last 10 minutes I was waiting to see the final 3 minutes of Dr. Paul

yeah...

I missed the economy segment apparently where glenn said he would french RP. My TV went black.

-See you in NH 1/3 - 1/7...

"Make fun buddy..." - Ron Paul

I don't think this is Beck's bag..

I just think he's a horrible interviewer. He has very little insight.
