"Patriot Pilot" Critical of TSA Steps Forward, Won't Back Down

Pilot Punished for Video Critical of Airport Security Comes Forward, Won't Back Down
December 28, 2010

The California airline pilot punished by the Transportation Security Administration for posting videos critical of airport security has revealed his identity.

Chris Liu, who calls himself the "Patriot Pilot," says he was just trying to improve airport security when he released a recorded and posted online footage of San Francisco International Airport in which he criticized a number of procedures.

Liu had been part of a federal security program allowing him to carry a gun in the cockpit. But after he posted the video, federal agents showed up at his house Dec. 2 to confiscate his weapon and suspend his Federal Flight Deck Officer credentials.

Liu originally declined to identify himself in fear of retaliation but says he’s now going public in hopes of changing major security flaws.

One of those flaws, Liu says in the video, is that flight crews are subject to rigorous screening while ground crews can just swipe a card to open the door to the tarmac.

Thanks for this info, BleuCream....

and for your comment below.

I put his website link into the story.

I don't think any DP members work harder than you do.

too kind of ya,

no bigs, and thank you.o)

Apparently, the Lius have been at the wrong end of the statists' accusations before:

"Sacramento house blast owners: 'We're victims too'"

The Lius used to own a rental property, and an out of work neighbor that he tried to help out by hiring him to help a local contractor put a sewer line into his rental property, for whatever got peeved at him bad enough that BLEW UP his house!

then, even worse, the local LEO actually accused Chris Liu of an inside job, of setting the fire and blowing up the house himself. so, he ended up hiring a lawyer and a PI for $5000 to clear his name, when the local public servants also eventually came to the same conclusion, conveniently, and decided to let him know by calling him at 3am.

just what is wrong with some humans?

while I hate to see good people suffer, I hope some of frustrations and legal threats made against him by the govt at both local and Federal levels have convinced Chris Liu even more deeply of the current path he seems to be taking now. a silver lining, perhaps...

Who is checking out those who

Who is checking out those who do the screening?

Bump: Who watches the watchmen?

That question of yours is the question of our time.

Get ready for more control

All this does is make a case for stronger security measures and further robbing us of our freedoms. It is amazing to me that just a few false flag incidents can completely turn our society into a creatures embedded in fear. I will take my chances thank you very much. It is like Toyota bragging they spend 1 million dollars a day on researching safety. I would rather have a car that cost $3,000 and take the chance the technology today is infinitely superior to even the cars manufactured 30 years ago which seemed to get people around just fine. This is all hype and bullshit.

I love this song :)

Despite Liu's claim that the armed airline pilots represent the largest volunteer militia in the country and "they're the most intelligent because they're all pilots," he's a poor one to make that boast. With his attorney having to speak for him and basically hitting their talking points rather than answer the frickin' question, Liu looked a bit light a deer in the headlights. I was hoping for a bit more dynamism.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

O.K., so Liu is not an Alex Jones. Understand that.

He's on the quiet side it appears, but patriots come in all kinds, and he is certainly not used to the being in the spotlight. However, he is not backing down, which is the important thing, and he has a lawyer to try and protect himself from the power structure.

He qualifies as a patriot, IMO.

I nominate this for frontpage!

Liu, the next Michael Roberts!

reality being what it is, always great to have veterans criticizing the Gvt.

Check out his side of the story, in his own words, at his own website: http://www.patriotpilot.com/aboutme.html

plus, the reality of tribal/collectivist/racial/PC politics being what it is, it may also help that those in the 'minority' community who may fear cultural condemnation for making any strong public resistance against their servants in the Federal gvt, Mr. Liu, a former US Army chopper pilot stationed in Germany, who then married a German national and has made a new life together back in the States, would serve to be a great role model, in the most American sense.

Truly a patriot!

And frankly, I'm not sure how many of you would be naturally comfortable, or not be a bit hesitant, or not be a bit unsure of yourself, unless you are used to being on TV, or being interviewed on TV, or familiar with having a massive network sized camera pointed at you all the time.

also, personally I care not whether he is, or is not all too aware of NWO, FED.Res. being a private cartel, etc. He's heart seems to be in the right place; certainly, he's risking his life, career, and unfortunately may endanger his family, if not at the least burden them financially for standing up for what he truly believes to be absolutely unacceptable.

it would be a truly life changing decision for anyone; no family man makes such life changing decisions lightly.

I wish him well in his endeavors. He's just joined the fight!

One more added to the "Good Guys" column, in my book. perhaps he'll join the Oath Keepers!

I''ll Third That

I also agree with everything you said. Well thought out and written. This is another American patriot who deserves encouragement and support.

God bless him and his family.

Second the Nomination

Agree with everything you said.

I with you!

HE took a stand instead of cowering... that takes balls... and he has my respect.
