No More Alcohol In My Life!

After many days of looking in depth at my life my lifestyle choices I decided to abandon my drinking ways.

No more organic beer or for that matter any kind of alcohol intake for me.

Thank you Michael Nystrom my wonderful friend for being instrumental in this choice this path I am taking.

I want the whole patriot community on Daily Paul to know how much I love you all.

Each and every one of you.

Keep me in your prayers I need your support and I need to face you every day being sober and strong...

I do not want to be depressed and lethargic because alcohol is flowing in my veins and affects my heart beat and my activism in our sacred struggle for Liberty.

Here I say it out loud -- hope some of you with a similar addiction/s join me.

Love Liberty Peace!

Tom I wish you the best of luck

Thank you for sharing your commitment with us. As I mentioned on another thread, behavioral changes without understanding the underlying reasons aren't sustainable.

You have to have a deep, underlying conviction as to why you are changing in a fundamental way. The external behavior then is simply a reflection of the decision you make inside.

By making this decision, you serve as an inspiration to many other here as well. All of us have issues & addictions that we're struggling with.

As I shared with you privately, I have been struggling with smoking ever since the RNC in August of 2008. I finally made the decision as well, to put it out of my life for good, and haven't smoked since 12/13/10 - the night of the Boston Tea Party. (In fact, I gave my last cigarette to Bob Dwywer!)

So I am here to support you, Tom, as is everyone in the Daily Paul community.

There will be times when you feel weak and want a drink. It is at those times that you can think of us, and all the love and support that you have in this community, encouraging you to be the best that you can be.

Best of luck, and happy new year, Tom!

All art is only done by the individual. The individual is all you ever have, and all schools only serve to classify their members as failures. E.H.

I just send you an email

I hope many others join me on the proper path and away from their addictions.

I know there will be days I will be tempted --
so made preparations so the first 4 weeks should be smooth sailing...

Coming out public is a key -- how can I show my face here again if I return to being drunk? -- what a total idiot I would show myself to be!

Thank you Michael for all...you coming out with your nicotine addiction story helped me to focus on what has to be done -- but it took many months and several DP members were instrumental in helping me out.
I detoxified my body to obtain the clear thinking and feeling to arrive at this point...

and God forbid if I abandon my path I am ready to enter a rehab center at once and for 3 months there will be no daily paul in my life --- but I am sure in my heart this is not going to happen as long as I have so many people praying for me.

Happy New Year Michael

p.s. hope Bob D quits as well

What lifespan does David Wolfe think is possible? Do you use superfoods or superherbs – David says yes, and to start now.

Do you have a youtube link for the same video?

You are setting yourself up for failure.

That statement is so incorrect, I do not know where to begin.

I know you have tried in the past, and have failed.

You have stated this here at the dp.

Do not give yourself these rules.

Mr. Nystrom is so wise.

In these situations you need to only consider #1.

The ones who care, will care not about failure, it will mean nothing to them.

They will not fail with you, but they will grow with you if you succeed.

Your failure, if there are any, will matter not, but your successes will define a new life path for them.

I dismiss you from your self imposed obligations. My life will not change with your failure because I expect failure. That is the natural chain of events.

But if you succeed ...

HO HO Ho ...

That would change the course of the future.

And I know my life would be altered from that day forward.

You need to be selfish in these times and the ones that care, will seek out your succeesses and forget your failures.

I am not stronger than you because I choose not to publicize my own struggles. I am weaker. Do not forget this.

Godspeed.

Right on bro!

As you know I have been sticking to mine for a couple of months now,I hope you can find the strength to stick with it,I told you before my friend,I got your back man.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

my friend

you also helped me big time in all this...Paul_S is another DP friend who helped me on my way in recent months.

You have done the hardest part

Tomasz, the hardest part is now behind you bro.The hardest step is always the first one,The first step is always realising that something might be wrong and recognising it for what it is.

The second step is to decide to do something to correct it,Now you have also done this, you are ahead of the game now.

Anytime you like email and I will do what I can to support your efforts.
