I had as neighbors once. They were very gracious to us. It really is too bad we hear so much about both the Radical Muslims and the adherents of other faiths that do not live up to their founder's teachings.

One issue we face, is our evil ones are far more powerful and numerous than the wackos who attacked the Alexandria church. It would certainly warm my heart to have seen people from all political sides ringfence the Weavers and the Branch Davidians when they were targeted for slaughter, or the Yearning for Zion mormons when their children were targeted by the child grabbers; but I won't hold my breath for that happening next time the evil ones decide to offer up another minority for sacrifice, on the altar of progressive political correctness.

Many Americans did step up during the civil rights marches, though; but the local thugs they were up against back then, while still formidable, were no match for the current police state apparatus.
