“The most important element of a free society, where individual rights are held in the highest esteem, is the rejection of the initiation of violence.” Dr. Ron Paul

I just saw the whole

I just saw the whole interview and I'm sorry to say that most of the guests (even the pro-RP guy) are mostly clueless.

But most of all, that ignorant, bald, dickhead motherf***er Dr. Timothy J. Lynch seems to me thoroughly in bed with the CFR. (I haven't checked, I don't care really.)
That S.O.B. really REALLY got on my nerves with his smug butter-blob face. Rarely have I seen or heard such disdain for the RP campaign like I heard from him -and really- if you listen closely, you'll see yourself that HE HAS NO CLUE -NONE- about the whole RP fenomenon. He's simply dismissing it off-hand like a well-trained CFR-puppy!

If anyone deserves hate mail instead of good ol' Glenn, it's this good-for-nothing, lard-ass waste of oxygen.

I'm glad, but.

I am glad to see people around the world full of hope and optimism with regard to the American future. Hoping our country comes to its senses and gets up off the couch and makes a change. It's nice to see someone of a different nationality waving our flag and having tea on it as opposed to burning it, but...

Didn't international support to an extent weaken Kerry?

No, I think his ties to

No, I think his ties to Europe, especially France, were a burden for Kerry.

It's funny that foreigners would get it first.

Ron Paul is the eventual Democrat nominee's WORST NIGHTMARE. It's a pity more Republicans don't understand he's probably their only chance at the Presidency for that reason.

Understand this though:

Understand this though: outside the US (and maybe Canada) everyone thinks all Republicans are like G.W. Bush.
So in fact the majority of foreigners want a Democrat in the WH regardless, to spare the world another Bush-style cowboy stomping all over them with his neo-con boots.

They just don't know yet about RP.

[edit]
Let me clarify:
Non-US foreigners who follow US news are minimal.
Non-US foreigners who follow US election news are much much less.
...and then there are those who know and understand the elections and support RP from over there. Now we're talking like 0.0000001%
The rest, if given an option between Repub or Dem would prolly blindly choose Dem because they hate Bush's international bully tactics.

I think foreigners are more astute about our foreign policy

Haven't you seen the site Who Would the World Elect.com? RP is by far the leader, despite being in the Republican Party. The times I've been overseas I found that citizens of other countries are much more aware of world politics than Americans.

I don't think all those who voted for RP are US citizens who are expatriates, either. Check it out!

Yep, I've seen it alright

Yep, I've seen it alright but c'mon, WWTWE is something only people *already* interested in US politics will care to cast a vote on. It's got no anti-fraud safeties/safeguards whatsoever. It's just a shoutbox.
If anything, I do think it's a nice calling card for RP.

Our press calls Ron Paul a spoiler

Republicans complain that Ron would split the vote, that he's a spoiler.

International press thinks Ron would split the Democrat vote.

Who do you think is right?

Both - with clarification

I agree with both, but to clarify question #1:
Dr. Paul is not a 'spoiler' - unless you believe an honest election can be spoiled by exposing Americans to the option of freedom of choice.

Both

Both

Both

That's why the GOP needs to elect him as the Representative, otherwise he may run as an Independent and WIN

Pure Mathematics

The only way Dr. Paul wins is if - in the Presidential election - he takes votes from democrats, republicans, and independents. He "splits" both parties (which is really only one party to begin with).
