Silver Manipulation About to End? CFTC Purposes Stringent Commodity Future Limits

Its funny because commodities actually dropped on this news. People must not have any idea how much manipulation is really going on here.

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Seeking to combat manipulation and speculation, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on Thursday voted to propose a rule that would restrict the number of commodity futures and option contracts that any investor can hold in energy, agriculture or metals derivatives. "Position limits help to protect the markets both in times of clear skies and when there is a storm on the horizon," said CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler. The proposal was introduced by a vote of 4-to-1

They voted to propose a rule. What's the next vote?

This could drag on forever with no meaningful resolution. Meanwhile, JP and the boys will be setting up diversified investing institutions. That's what I'd do if I wanted to keep my number of contracts. I wish I'd saved the link, but I read last month JP is already farming out their contracts overseas. I wouldn't get my hopes up too much on this news.
