I just heard about Glenn Beck scrolling "Paul is dead" along the bottom of the screen while Ron Paul was speaking. Damn, I shouldn't have sent him that thank you note. Can someone explain to me the context of Schmuckabee's quote, "Paul is dead?" Was he talking about Ron Paul or some other issue or person? Thanks all! » |

I know it's getting old to keep focusing on the negative BS from the corporate press, but this crosses the line. That was no accident. That was a clear message that the war is on.
Beck despises what Ron Paul stands for. The 'kid gloves' treatment should be an obvious indication that something less direct, and more sinister, is happening.
Sorry folks, but I think it was idiotic to send Beck a bunch of 'thank you' messages. If it was up to him, every one of us would be in prison for challenging the powers that be. He is not our friend. We shouldn't be sending him threats, but we shouldn't be showing him respect either.
These corrupt media corporations are subverting liberty and our Constitution, and deserve to be put out of business. You are naive if you think they will ever drop their hostility to our cause and Dr. Paul's ideas.
Turning them off, and boycotting their corporate sponsors, is the only appropriate response.

You guys, the entire Paul is Dead thing was meant to be a joke told by Huckabee about his cross commercial and the subliminal message!
I am OLD enough to remember there was once a BS story floating around that Paul McArtney was dead, and if you ran a certain song backwards on the Beatles album, you could hear it say, Paul is Dead, Paul is Dead.....

Beck has no control over the ticker running at the bottom. That is cnn's. I know you love to hate on Beck, but he's not worth it, and he gave Paul an hour and was mostly reasonable...Give this crap up.

To his credit, Glenn gave Ron a fair interview.
God forbid his reasoning being, that he may genuinely have been concerned for his safety and wanted to make certain Ron's fans knew he was not being biased.
The thought that he might have been motivated due to threats, made me sick to my stomach. Maybe people are afraid to report on Ron Paul, not because of their bosses, but due to his fanatical fans.
This worries me, what if exec's say "For the simple safety of our reporters we are not discussing Ron Paul?" I wonder if that would be a legitimate statement or if that is what Glenn Beck is setting up.

Beck used it to scroll the message 3 times across the screen, a total of 9 subliminal messages by BECK. In this dirty campaigning expect wild accusations, fabrications and yes, even veiled threats. The Huckster used very poor judgment, Beck is a globalist tool so we expect it from him. If Paul supporters really did make threats RP had nothing to do with it, but Huckster being a candidate has exposed himself to criticism. I fear this is just a small sample of the trash we can expect from MSM. They fear the message, they fear our growing base, and they fear our grass-roots financing. It reminds me of a Roy Orbison song, "just running scared"

I believe we should focus on grass roots as the MSM is losing it's grasp already. This ticker was displayed during the segment on so called Domestic Terrorism. Get ready.
But here's the thing about subconscious programming they have no effect unless you are vulnerable. In other words, it won't effect those of us in the know who can clearly see this for what it is but it will effect those who aren't. That's why grassroots will be the overwhelming factor. We can't rely on the establishment in any way.
Keep your eyes open and realize there is no benefit for the established media to support Ron Paul. The only reason he had him on is because YOU wrote in to his sponsors and objected to him calling us TERRORISTS. Does anybody believe his mind has changed within 2 weeks?

It isn't about Ron Paul at all. It's a reference to The Beatles' White album, on the song Revolution #9, if you play it backwards (you gotta use a real turntable) it says "Paul is dead. Paul is dead."
Huckleberry was just trying to explain away the blatant floating cross in his "merry christmas" ad, saying people were just trying to see things that weren't actually there.
Just as convenient as the cross/bookshelf is the fact that his
opponent is named Paul. I guess if we can't prove the intent than it doesn't matter, right? Wrong. For anyone with a brain, this is a very slick answer. Remember, a candidate that hired Ed Rollins to run his campaign wouldn't accidently have a cross/bookshelf floating in the background of a Baby Jesus commercial. Also, their statements are rehearsed, rewritten, and revised to say exactly what they want to say, so he wouldn't accidently say Paul is Dead, without knowing it could be directed at Ron Paul indirectly. This is a slick talking, well managed politician.

He was joking about the Beatles' recording of "The White Album" and the urban legend that if a portion of the album is played backwards, the words "Paul is dead" is heard, a reference to the very much alive Paul McCartney.

That wasn't covered on Beck. All Beck viewers knew was that Beck whined about death threats from Paul supporters and said he had to wear a bulletproof vest because of them. Then they see "Paul is dead. Paul is dead. Paul is dead" flashed across the screen.
