The creature form jeykll islandis surfacing

desperate to enjoin nations from isolating reserves outside the international commodity exchanges the IMF subverts all media in every nation to secure industrial loans made by our treasury, soon we will not be thinking in terms of nation states but instead of the duality between those who want to be earthlings and those who want to be "global citizens", or "environmentalist" or whichever entitlement flows from International banking law.

Egypt's generals impose martial law. Ugh!

Egypt's generals impose martial law

CAIRO - Egypt's generals imposed martial law on Sunday, dissolving parliament and suspending the constitution, moves that many of the protesters who helped topple President Hosni Mubarak said were necessary to excise a rotten form of government.

"The people will be frustrated if the military stays in power more than six months," said Essam el-Erian, a Muslim Brotherhood leader. Analysts said the group stands to benefit from snap elections because it is Egypt's best-organized political movement.

Let's hope Iran is next.

I hope the Iranian people overthrow their oppressive government.

I was sorta hoping

that the USA would throw out theirs next. Has the Iranian government been oppressing you lately, or what?

And what do you have against Lew Rockwell?

Lew Rockwell

wrote racist newsletters in Ron Paul's name, and was too cowardly to come forth as the writer to prevent harm to Paul's campaign. Also, he advocates against voting. He made Paul suffer through grillings in the media over it, when all he had to do is man up. Also he's an anarcho-capitalist who thinks voting is immoral. At the Rally for the Republic he even brazenly advocated that Paul supporters disengage from politics. That's bad for Dr. Paul

The Iranians live under just as bad a government as Egypt's or worse. So why not lend moral support a revolution there too? Living in the U.S. is a cakewalk in comparison.

CBS news report on Egypt with NO cynicism?! Amazing.

What an explosive display of the JOY of gaining freedom by Egyptian people!

The way people from all walks of life came together and self-organized with pride and dignity, in front of our own eyes through Al J, still gives me goosebumps.

I hope they succeed in continuing their fight to remove Omar "sheik al-Torture" Suleiman and his faction in the military.

I truly pray that their LOVE and PEOPLE POWER overflow into their neighbors in Gaza, Israel, African nations and beyond.

This "new era" mentioned in the news clip is for all of us throughout the globe. As the USA dollar collapses, we will all be poorer and will have to learn to feed and clothe each other, while remaining FREE with dignity, pride and joy as with these courageous Egyptians.

Egypt military faces resistance in restoring order

I'm beginning to believe that the protests may have been a waste of time. One dictatorship is being replaced by another. When you get rid of the puppet, you need to also get rid of the puppet strings.

By SARAH EL DEEB, Associated Press Sarah El Deeb, Associated Press

CAIRO – Egypt's military moved Sunday to restore order in Cairo after weeks of mass demonstrations, but troops faced some resistance as they tried to dismantle the protest camp at the heart of the movement that toppled President Hosni Mubarak.

Soldiers and military police took down the makeshift tents of protesters who had camped out in Tahrir, or Liberation, Square, but scuffles broke out with some young men who refused to leave. Many local residents also shouted at the protesters that it was time to go.

The tension reflected the fragility of the situation as protesters press for a voice in guiding their country's move to democracy two days after Mubarak surrendered power to the military.

Egypt's new military rulers promised Saturday to abide by the peace treaty with Israel and eventually hand power to an elected government, but many protesters worried long-sought reforms would be stalled if they give up.

The crowd on Tahrir Square was down from a peak of a quarter-million at the height of the demonstrations to a few thousand on Sunday. Most of those remaining have been pushed to sidewalks and the streets were open to traffic for the first time in more than two weeks.

A coalition of youth and opposition groups that was the driving force of the movement pulled its supporters from the streets, calling instead for weekly mass demonstrations every Friday to keep pressure on.

Mubarak used last 18 days to secure his $40B fortune.

Nice guy. We taught him very well. Where did all that $60B of American Aid go to? 1/3 to the military, and 2/3s to Mubarak.

Egypt: Hosni Mubarak used last 18 days in power to secure his fortune
Hosni Mubarak used the 18 days it took for protesters to topple him to shift his vast wealth into untraceable accounts overseas, Western intelligence sources have said.
By Philip Sherwell, Robert Mendick, and Nick Meo in Cairo 8:26PM GMT 12 Feb 2011

The former Egyptian president is accused of amassing a fortune of more than £3 billion - although some suggest it could be as much as £40 billion - during his 30 years in power. It is claimed his wealth was tied up in foreign banks, investments, bullion and properties in London, New York, Paris and Beverly Hills.

In the knowledge his downfall was imminent, Mr Mubarak is understood to have attempted to place his assets out of reach of potential investigators.

As the truth comes out ...

...about all the atrocities this man has committed against his people, it will further hurt the U.S. in the eyes of the world. We have been officially exposed for propping up Hitler type regimes. We are the most hypocritical nation on Earth. When are people in this country going to wake up?

Congratulations Egyptians - stay free; defend liberty!!

Debbie

Amazing

2 see everyone come together and yet be somewhat organized.

May God Bless the Egyptians,

For their courage and moral fortitude in the face of overwhelming odds. They risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, for FREEDOM!

Today, I am an Egyptian!

#500

Too bad some of you are so negative / cynical about what happened today. Others might call it "realistic".

I would suggest to have a little confidence and faith in the resolve of the Egyptians to insist on freedom and democratic reform. I think they've deserved to be given the benefit of the doubt over the past eightien days. They will not accept "the next tyrant" just like that.

I was extremely happy for the Egyptian people today when it happened, as if the revolution had taken place in my own country. For some reason I think this was an inmensely important battle in which the forces of freedom triumphed over tyranny. It has been a major source of inspiration over the past weeks for many people throughout the world. People are watching and asking themselves what power they have once united for a common cause.

But maybe I am just naief. The ramifications of this historic day are not known yet. But again, I think it is significant to note that this peaceful uprising resulted in the ouster of a dictator, instead of being crushed like many people expected and feared.

Youth + Technology= new paradigm.

This is a new dimension to international politics which I'm sure, has the "elites" rocking back on their heels.

Vote for Liberty...Buy Silver Eagles.

Now the 'Purge' will begin!

Now the purge of the elite, the intelligentsia, the educated, and all who favor free markets and liberty, will begin! As the interviewee stated, he wished his father could have been here to see the rise of socialism, the 'democracy' of the masses, the power to the people (mob).

Had the US not stolen billions in wealth from it's now poor, and given to the rich abroad, Egypt may have lost it's tyrant long ago, and be spared the future of more tyranny.

Instead, it is now time for the rise of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat! The heads of all who oppose the force of international socialism, must 'roll'!

Be prepared for the transition in Egypt, just as in all the past US caused disruptions and meddling, the transition to a more suitable dictator to control! In history, the globalists and members of the new CFR, have always used the Third Internationale, the force of the fist, the power of the masses, to enact the communist regime.

Egypt is well on it's way. It may take a few months or it may take a couple years. Corporate fascists will indubitably have their way!

Only when we remove the waste and iniquity from congress, the fiat from the Fed, and the American 'universal soldiers' from peppering the globe, will this deadly cycle of resource rape and pillage stop!

So I guess the US Owns

their military .... at least they have funded them ....
so the US will be adding Egypt to it's list of controlled countries

Now the U.N. will put their

Now the U.N. will put their puppets on the voting ballots...

Amr Mousa resigns as Secretary General of Arab League

The 2 main guys to lead Egypt are Mohamad ElBaradei and Amr Mousa. ElBaradei, I think is the preferred "western" governments' choice, he's a secular international bureaucrat attorney. Doesnt have that much street credit in Egypt because he's lived abroad for 20 years. Amr Mousa, however has served in many posts in the government in embassy posts, and most recently has been secretary general of the arab league. well, he just resigned from his post today. 1st positioning step to become the next Egyptian president. He has a lot of street credit among Egyptians. IMO, he's the most likely to get elected at this point and would have the support of most Egyptians if he were to do so. We'll see what happens. Egyptians can sort themselves out, the world just needs to step out of the way and let them choose their own destiny

What happens next?

I'm sure the PTB's have already pre-selected the candidates to print on the ballots.

Hope the ballots have a write-in space.

That's complicated

If Obama called for him to resign, Mubarak's state TV would be playing that up as "See? The US is behind this uprising."

It is great that the people have shown

that there is power in numbers, and the people CAN have the power to make change. It is too bad that they will again 'elect' a new ruler (as in u.s. will appoint one). I hope they enjoy their 15 minutes of true freedom, because a new ruler/president/king/whatever will only result in tyranny over time.
