Paul just CRUSHED the Don Black question - Cavuto 12-19-07 4:05pm
Submitted by phillydilly on Wed, 12/19/2007 - 16:13
Paul was asked about Don Black and gave the best answer i've ever heard to cavuto. i hope someone has this tivo'd
Paul said he wont return, probably already spent it, he's not screening 100k donors, and why return it so he can use it for evil when dr paul can use it for freedom.

I would have retorted. "Yes
I would have retorted. "Yes and I was told he watches this show nightly as well.
Agree...Cavuto a*s got kicked in his face (is this possible?)
The funny thing about MSM is that they ask the candidates such pointless questions. It's sounds like a freak show of some kind. I mean, there must be better questions about a presidential candidate than harping on a $500 donation, you would think. I mean, seriously, is this what Americans love to hear about their presidential candidates?
What a loser Cavuto is. (I hope Cavuto reads this comment or somehow it gets to him)
Paul handed him....
HIS ASS!!!!! Damn that was great....
The Best Retort
of an idiotic question asked to the Great Dr by some entertainer posing as an objective journalist.
Very strong answer. The blog boards are full of negative comments about this 500.00 dollar donation. The truth is, the guy who donated (don't need to mention name) has made more money and gotten more milage from his little donation than he ever imagined. He knew what he was doing and the media is too happy to continue to sensationalize this non story.
As a supporter of RP, I have no intention of sending emails to these guys and pointing out their own bias towards the Dr. It only gives them the ammunition to continue to paint us all as something other than what we are.
Not that I watch any of these shows, but Jack Cafferty reported positively about RP and said he always gets positive responses from RP supporters. That is who we truly are. Even when other news network entertainers are negative or the perception is negative, if I respond by email, it will be after the "dust" settles and it will be professional.
WIN PAUL WIN.
GEAUX RON PAUL 2012.
Now that's a slam dunk! :-)
Now that's a slam dunk! :-) I hope all those who've been hawking this Don Black story see this video and realize their outright stupidity.
Cavuto looked embarrassed -- he knew it was a ridiculous point
Maybe President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has a sense of humor and he'll send Dr Paul a check. That would give the Establishment media a heart attack. I know, foreigners can't donate to an American presidential campaign but Dr Paul could frame it and keep it in his office. Then pull it out and use it for laughs every time the antique American media tries another cheap shot -- Don Black? Ha, he's a lightweight. The president of Iran sent me $2300. Black only sent lunch money.

Paul's Response is Absolutely the Greatest!
Way to go Dr. Paul !
I agree with all of the other comments listed.
It was great seeing this video. I hope a lot of other people were watching it too. He got to get out quite a few of his beliefs, especially at the end of the segment.
Great!!!
priceless
yes, priceless look on his face... i hope he realizes what an insulting question that is to ask such a respected congressman.
just like with everything else about him, its so nice to have a candidate who just goes with it instead of trying to save face/backpeddle/cover-up etc. "if they want to send me money, ill spend it" YES.
would they ask obama about it if the black panthers (yes they still exist) gave him a donation? woops sorry i cant ask that...
Ron Paul turns the volume UP!!!!!!!
Cavuto is totally bulldozed! This is the funniest segment I've seen so far!!
Cavuto, consider yourself RWNED!!!!!!!
Something tells me that
Cavuto asked these questions, just to keep his job.
I've seen him be pretty supportive of Ron Paul, on other days.
I think as time goes on, we might see a few reporters and talking heads break ranks. Change networks, etc...out of disgust.
Keep your eyes peeled.

Dr. P put the smack down.
Keep digging FOX you can't find nothing on Dr. Paul.
Just for the hell of it we should send a truck load of shovels to FOX with a big red bow and a Christmas card that says:
To help you in your dirt digging.

Dr Paul's answer made be proud
I'm proud to be a Paul supporter with an answer like that. Why not take the money and use it for good instead of evil?
pwned
I want to hear him say something like this: "It's not me giving these white supremacists a voice, I stand for freedom and liberty, It's you guys in the media who keep interviewing the 1 or 2 white supremacists out of my 100000 donors. Instead of giving a voice to a racist, why don't you interview the Google Engineer that quit his job to campaign for me in NH, or the thousands of people taking time out of their day to wave campaign posters on the side of the road."

But that piece with Cavuto today attacking Ron Paul about a $500 donation he knew nothing about... are you kidding me?
Seriously... was that for real?
WOW Fox News... I don't know how much longer I can watch this and still consider it news. Seriously that was just so stupid and made you look like an idiot. And I think you're one of the best that Fox has.

I hope that RP embodies this characteristic into the future because he will kill the MSM and the body politic. Poor Neil, he really seems like a nice man.

Power To The People?
Cavuto looked like he was ashamed
Did you see the look on his and his posture at the end of the interview? He was ashamed of his questioning! As he should have been. Hopefully, the rest of the lame stream media will learn from having seen RP rub Cavuto's nose in the spot on the carpet and spanking his ass. RP will house break them yet!!!!!!!!
Yes! you are right about that.
Right at the very end, it sounded like he tried to make amends by mentioning
the last money bomb again.

Utterly preposterous that
Utterly preposterous that this is even an issue. I am so glad that Dr. Paul has the good sense not to cave in to demands that he return the money. Some critics insinuate that Ron Paul is endorsing the views of any and all supporters who donate to him. That is absurd and of course the truth is to the contrary; the supporters endorse Dr. Paul's views and that is why they donate. Perhaps some unsavory characters will be inspired by Dr. Paul to change some of their wayward views and focus on the important issues they do agree with Dr. Paul on-that's a good thing and should be mentioned in a positive light by the media. As others have noted, the other campaigns are rife with tainted contributions of every ilk, yet they are not badgered by questions about scruples even when some, like Hillary, have bogus donor addresses from poor immigrant Chinese workers in NY China-Town who can't afford the donations made in their names.
Further, if Don Black and other supremacist's money is so tainted that it tarnishes all who they gives to, then I suppose that the government doesn't collect taxes from him and his ilk and they buy and pay for everything anonymously. The fact is that our republic is supposed to protect free speech, even unsavory and unpopular opinions of despicable people.
Three cheers for that! =)

One kook gives the doc $500 and he gets jerked on national TV
Hillary has taken 10's of millions from people who build and sell depleted uranium bombs and private mercenary armies that are not governed by any law.
Bush takes evidence from a criminal proceeding destroys it and instructs his staff to ignore subpoena's and stay in contempt of a court order.
Mr. Cheney advises the Buffett owned Washington Post to publish 26 above the fold articles in support of an illegal invasion of Iraq.
These people are responsible for the deaths of one million human beings and Cavuto who is basically an employee of the Bush administration is instructed by one of the owners of the Bush administration, Ruppert Murdoch to ask Dr. Paul for an interview and attempt to align him with some kook.
A FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR KOOK.
Have you seen the deformities in the maternity wards in Iraq from the areas where depleted uranium bombs were used by our armed forces?
A guy in Florida who has a freaking bumper sticker or something. One wack. We put together about $20,000,000 in about 70 days and blow the entire republican campaign into nano particles with money that would have been used for groceries and Christmas presents and all that little piece of 10 cent sh%$ has is a goombah from Florida? A $500 dollar goombah?
Neil? That is all you have for today? The doc made you look like a total a$$hole. I bet a weeks pay your mother called you after that interview and told you not to come for Christmas.
We want it more than they do because all they have is a dipstick from Florida...that is all they have folks...we got'em right where we want'em.

Screening viewpoints of donors?
Not to mention -- if this is the media's 'standard' on donations, are they expecting all of the candidates to do the same thing? Or do they bury the real story if there's funny business with donations of one of their anointed candidates? The hypocrisy just gets more blatant as this race goes on.
