I Received a Carbon Copy, Sen. Feinstein Today
I Received a Carbon Copy, Sen. Feinstein Today
Sen. Feinstein would rather have self-proclaimed elitists, on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors to make secret decisions, that is, without transparency.
She said, “I have some concerns that a more expansive audit, including a review of monetary policy, could prevent the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors from making key decisions free of outside political influence.”
She illustrates her inability to grasp simple truths or her devotion to a corrupt system. Otherwise, we should support the Congress being disbanded because of political influence. Furthermore, they should take sovereign dictatorship of their regions.
Sen. Feinstein would rather be placed into position and be accountable to no person for critical decisions because she has an elitist disposition.
Additionally, she references the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform, but the fact is it does little to nothing to prevent the exact same behavior that has harmed so many lives.
---
Representative Barney Frank seems so disingenuous, very disappointed with his supposed Wall Street reform, which was showmanship and a mockery. I just do not know how these men and women get into such esteemed positions.
For example, he supports Sen. Dianne Feinstein who said, ‘If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate, for an outright ban to pick up everyone’s’ firearms, I would have done it.’ And, yet, her superior self has a concealed carry permit in California because she is an elitist, ignorant, and unfit to serve.
“We shall have lost something vital and beyond price on the day when the state denies us the right to resort to force.” Louis Brandeis, United States Supreme Court Justice, 1916 to 1939
To attempt the denial of such fundamental rights, is to set up a society the way Germany, in 1928, seemingly with good intentions, required its citizens to register their firearms. Then, in 1933, when Hitler was elected, he systematically disarmed the people using the registration list. And, in 1938, he knew exactly where to strike with little to no resistance.
Practically speaking, every human being deserves the right to physically protect him or herself, family, friends, and neighbors from predators.
And, to the issue of intellectual protection, during the subcommittee examination, Rep. Frank spoke of sinister, exclaiming there is no sinister disposition toward the people when private industry, directly related to profiting from the decisions of the Federal Reserve, makes the Federal Reserve’s decisions in private. How gross a profit does an institution have to amass or deprive for others before Rep. Frank cries out antitrust, sinister, against the people!
There were many entanglements of words when the issue is very clear, and a PhD is not needed to understand the difference between honest and dishonest practice.
Should the Federal Reserve be micromanaged, of course, and every action approved, which is the American constitutional way of checks and balances. We call it transparency, and it is something being lost more and more every day with a country being run by people who think they can classify anything they wish as secret, confidential, or restricted.
We have hope, and his name is Dr. Ron Paul.
Sincerely, Joseph C. Carbone III; 11 May 2012

could someone please update the date so this is front paged.
Ron Paul is My President
Do we have ANY DPer's from California who contacted Issa?
Anyone reach out? Anyone get a response? How can Issa explain to you folks in California that he is against this? Somehow auditing this private institution that handles trillions and trillions of taxpayer backed dollars is not something that is worthy of his attention!!!
This has more than a simple majority of co-sponsors in the house. Currently there are 224 co-sponsors in the House. We need Issa on-board and to act. HR459 in the committee that Issa chairs. The committee chair determines whether a bill will move past the committee stage. Therefore, Issa is key in moving this forward.
Anyone out there in the great state of California (49th Congressional district) pushed him on this? Does he want your vote in the next election??? Anyone???
Why no call from the floor for a vote?
I thought all that was required for a call from the floor was 218 co-sponsors.
I went to college w/ Rep. Mark Amodei's daughter
I need to tell her to tell him thanks for supporting the bill.
Darrell Issa is the Obstacle?
Darrell Issa (R-CA49) is the Chairman of the Oversight Committee. He calls himself the "watchdog", yet he refuses to sign HR459. Why won't he sign?!? I think he is our biggest obstacle.
A majority of the House has co-sponsored.
A majority of the Oversight committee has co-sponsored
A majority of the Subcommittee has co-sponsored.
The Committee on Government Organization, Efficiency and Financial Management is a subcommittee of the Oversight Committee.
Here are the subcommittee members: http://oversight.house.gov/government-organization/
Here are is my scorecard for HR459 and the Senate version S202 (at the bottom). Reps with an * in front are on the Oversight Committee. http://dianalehua.com/audit-the-federal-reserve-706/
What is the next step? They pushed CISPA through the House at the speed of light. We do need more Senate support for S202 though. Only 20 have co-sponsored.
Friggin' Issa
He has my district. I just called his office and spoke to a live operator or secretary and reminded him I'm a Republican voter in his district and would encourage him to support this bill.
Ironically, real journalism would reveal to American citizens that broadcast news has become a racket.
Force a reply from him
Thanks for taking action.
Here's his Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/darrellissa
Here's his contact info: http://issa.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=arti...
Here's his Twitter link: https://twitter.com/#!/darrellissa
@DarrellIssa
Be sure to ask him why he hasn't signed. I'll be curious to see his answer.
He has a lot of things right, so I'm really confused about his not signing. However he did vote for CISPA! http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll192.xml
Remember ALL the House reps are up for re-election this year. ;-)
The Names Listed
Those names listed as co-sponsors, and of course sponsor Ron Paul, make a majority of 51.7%. Is this bill still in a committee? Paul just needs to get the signature of every co-sponsor to get the bill out of the committee, and with the majority vote, the bill goes to the Senate!
So, with that being said, what could possibly be taking so long to pass this bill? The FED is "Forcing Economic Destruction" as I like to say now (First said that on Twitter: @MavsMania1011)Let's get this bill passed already! END THE FED!
What's the Hold Up
The bill is in the subcommittee. Do you think Ron Paul is waiting for Rand Paul's Senate version S202 to get majority first? That would probably be wise.
There is an S202 conversation that needs some attention. I just posted on it. We can't let Ron Paul down on this. Let's go after our senators. See my scorecard at the bottom for Senators:

Here is a rant...
...that was posted on another well known site that explains an audit has already been done. Maybe not a full audit, but it was enough to find out about all this horrendous corruption and evil from the fed reserve.
Read this and note the massive amounts of bailouts for other banks, other countries, and other private organizations. All the while this country is crashing fast. No wonder Ron Paul wants to do away with this present system of corruption, lies, and deceit.
Check out this rant:
SILVERGEDDON 4-30-12
"Every President through modern history has spent money like their hair was on fire. No exceptions. And, Congress approved an endless litany of unbalanced deficit spending budgets year after year. They didn't mind creating slavery for the tax payer, and printing free money compliments of the Fed for their banker / Wall Street buddies to bail them out of the mess created by the miracles of deregulation. lobbying, and corruption. All accomplished regardless of which party or President was in charge. They are all cut from the same block of cheese, and they are all culpable. I just hope we survive the end result of having criminals running the country for decades. Put your money in something tangible, because the dollar is going to continue to tank, resulting in way more inflation. And, banks may not survive the firestorm of margin lending, credit default swaps, and derivatives created that exceed 250 quadrillion dollars in total - more money than the gross domestic product of the entire planet for decades. Then, for all you number crunchers out there, some sobering statistics below. The Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor a "Reserve". This private bank run by the "Bank of England" has been stripping the US of its assets since the days of Andrew Jackson. If the $16,000,000,000,000.00 given away secretly, since 2007, to the member banks isn't reason enough to overhaul our entire government financial system then our country is doomed to financial failure. You won't read this in the mainstream media....but it may emerge in the coming elections. Read about this first ever audit of the Fed and understand why we are in such trouble. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 First Ever GAO Audit Of The Federal Reserve (You can click on the site and read the report). The first ever GAO audit of the Federal Reserve was carried out in the past few months due to the Ron Paul, Alan Grayson Amendment to the Dodd-Frank bill, which passed last year. Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill (HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out. Ben Bernanke, Alan Greenspan, and various other bankers vehemently opposed the audit and lied to Congress about the effects an audit would have on markets. Nevertheless, the results of the first audit in the Federal Reserve nearly 100 year history were posted on Senator Sanderâs webpage earlier this morning. sanders.senate.gov/newsroom/news/?id=9e2a4ea8-6e73-4be2-a753-62060dcbb3c3 (Summarized below) What was revealed in the audit was startling: $16,000,000,000,000.00 (TRILLION) had been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland. From the period between December 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the worldâs banks, corporations, and governments. The Federal Reserve likes to refer to these secret bailouts as an all-inclusive loan program, but virtually none of the money has been returned and it was loaned out at 0% interest. Why the Federal Reserve had never been public about this or even informed the United States Congress about the $16 trillion dollar bailout is obvious the American public would have been outraged to find out that the Federal Reserve bailed out foreign banks while Americans were struggling to find jobs. To place $16 trillion into perspective, remember that GDP of the United States is only $14.12 trillion. The entire national debt of the United States government spanning its 200+ year history is only $14.5 trillion. The budget that is being debated so heavily in Congress and the Senate is only $3.5 trillion. Take all of the outrage and debate over the $1.5 trillion deficit into consideration, and swallow this Red pill: There was no debate about whether $16,000,000,000,000 would be given to failing banks and failing corporations around the world. In late 2008, the TARP Bailout bill was passed and loans of $800 billion were given to failing banks and companies. That was a blatant lie considering the fact that Goldman Sachs alone received 814 billion dollars. As is turns out, the Federal Reserve donated $2.5 trillion to Citigroup, while Morgan Stanley received $2.04 trillion. The Royal Bank of Scotland and Deutsche Bank, a German bank, split about a trillion and numerous other banks received hefty chunks of the $16 trillion. **** When you have conservative Republican stalwarts like Jim DeMint(R-SC) and Ron Paul(R-TX) as well as self-identified Democratic socialists like Bernie Sanders all fighting against the Federal Reserve, you know that it is no longer an issue of Right versus Left. When you have every single member of the Republican Party in Congress and progressive Congressmen like Dennis Kucinich sponsoring a bill to audit the Federal Reserve, you realize that the Federal Reserve is an entity onto itself, which has no oversight and no accountability. Americans should be swelled with anger and outrage at the abysmal state of affairs when an unelected group of bankers can create money out of thin air and give it out to megabanks and super-corporations like Halloween candy. The list of institutions which received the most money from the Federal Reserve can be found on page 131 of the GAO Audit and are as follows: Citigroup: $2.5 trillion($2,500,000,000,000) Morgan Stanley: $2.04 trillion ($2,040,000,000,000) Merrill Lynch: $1.949 trillion ($1,949,000,000,000) Bank of America: $1.344 trillion ($1,344,000,000,000) Barclays PLC (United Kingdom): $868 billion* ($868,000,000,000) Bear Sterns: $853 billion ($853,000,000,000) Goldman Sachs: $814 billion ($814,000,000,000) Royal Bank of Scotland (UK): $541 billion ($541,000,000,000) JP Morgan Chase: $391 billion ($391,000,000,000) Deutsche Bank (Germany): $354 billion ($354,000,000,000) UBS (Switzerland): $287 billion ($287,000,000,000) Credit Suisse (Switzerland): $262 billion ($262,000,000,000) Lehman Brothers: $183 billion ($183,000,000,000) Bank of Scotland (United Kingdom): $181 billion ($181,000,000,000) BNP Paribas (France): $175 billion ($175,000,000,000) IT WILL BE INTERESTING AS TO HOW MUCH ATTENTION (AS WELL AS THE SLANT) THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA GIVES THIS UNBELIEVABLE POSITION OF OUR GOVERNMENT HAS PLACED US IN WITH NEVER PREVIOUSLY HAVING AN AUDIT OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE. I AM CONFIDENT THAT WE WILL HEAR SOMETHING LIKE THE FED HAD TO GIVE STIMULUS TO WHOM THE $16 TRILLION WENT TOO BECAUSE IF WE HAD NOT ALLOWED THIS IT WOULD BE THEIR COLLAPSE AND THE OURS. HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF CLOWARD AND PIVEN ECONOMICS? (PARAPHRASING) IT INVOLVES TWO HARVARD PROFESSORS WHOSE BOOK SAID TO CHANGE ANY GOVERNMENTâS ECONOMIC SYSTEM INTO A SOCIALIST ONE, IT SIMPLY DRIVES THEIR ECONOMY INTO THE DITCH THEN THE CITIZENS ALLOW THE GOVERNMENT TO DO WHAT THEY WISH TO SAVE THEM"

Your assumption makes sense, but remember the fake birth certificate. It was such a terrible job, as if they wanted to get caught. The lies they give us, are only going to fool the people who are sleeping. They don't fool and aren't even intended to fool us.
Tom Petri sucks
But at least he co-sponsored this important bill the day Ron Paul introduced it.
Guess I better give that joker credit where it's deserved.

Nay on bills that Obama signed
I just took a quick look at his voting record. Was it that bad? Nay for SOPA, PIPA, NDAA. He did back the debt ceiling limit of the president. They use some slight of hand "Disapproval of the authority of the President to raise debt ceiling". Rep Honda voted nay. In essence approval for the Pres to raise the debt ceiling. They played that game with the gay marriage bill a couple of years back. If you vote no you actually support it. Keep sending the emails. Ron Paul 2012 "It's Ron Paul or none of the above."
Does anyone know if there has
Does anyone know if there has been any work done on this by the Subcommittee on Government Organization, Efficiency, and Financial Management?
Any chance of this getting out of subcommittee before January 3, 2013?
AFAIK, the 112th US Congress ends on January 3, 2013 & HR 459 will need to be brought to a vote before that time. Otherwise the process will need to be restarted again under the 113th session of Congress.

Response from CA Sen Feinstein
Senator Feinstein (D-CA) does not want to sign S202 (Senate version of HR459) to audit the Federal Reserve. The good news is that she is up for re-election in 2012. Who should we get behind to get her out?
You may want to read this from the bottom up.

4/18/12 My response to Feinstein’s response:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Congresswoman Feinstein,
It’s April 2012 and there has been no full audit of the Federal Reserve and the too-big-to-fail banks are bigger than ever. Dodd-Frank is just words on a piece of paper. Please help Obama get the audit he requested in 2010. Show that you are serious about auditing the Federal Reserve by signing S.202.
The Federal Reserve has proven beyond any doubt that it is not capable of handling the monetary policy of the U.S. The Federal Reserve has FAILED! This job needs to be taken over by Congress. The Federal Reserve needs to be phased out.
Will you please sign S202?
Sincerely,
Diana

4/3/12 Feinstein's response to my request to know why she has not signed to support S.202, Rand Paul’s Senate bill to audit the Federal Reserve:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for contacting me to express support for legislation to increase transparency at the Federal Reserve. I appreciate hearing from you, and I welcome the opportunity to respond.
I agree that the trillions of dollars deployed by the Federal Reserve to stabilize the economy should be accounted for. On July 21, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (P.L. 111-203), which includes requirements for a complete audit of the Federal Reserve’s emergency lending activities during the financial crisis. Specifically, this legislation requires that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) publish a full audit of the loans and other assistance provided to financial institutions during the economic crisis. The GAO is also empowered with ongoing audit authority over any future emergency lending activities, but is not authorized to directly review key monetary policies such as the setting of interest rates. I believe this legislation takes appropriate steps to prevent the politicization of monetary policy while still promoting transparency in the use of public funds.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has introduced legislation that would require an additional audit of the Federal Reserve. The “Federal Reserve Transparency Act” (S. 202) would remove all existing restrictions on GAO audits, including confidentiality restrictions. I have some concerns that a more expansive audit, including a review of monetary policy, could prevent the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors from making key decisions free of outside political influence. This legislation is currently awaiting a vote in the Senate Banking Committee, of which I am not a member. However, please know that I have made careful note of your support for increased transparency of the Federal Reserve, and I will keep your thoughts in mind should this or other relevant legislation come before me for a vote.
Once again, thank you for writing. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841. Best regards.
Sincerely yours,
Dianne Feinstein
United States Senator

Why haven’t you signed S.202 to audit the Federal Reserve?
The Federal Reserve has FAILED to keep our banks and money sound. We already found out that trillions of our tax dollars went overseas to bailout foreign banks and that the Fed continues to loan at 0% to their favorite “too-big-to-fail” banks.
Are you with us or with Wall Street?

Audit the Fed
Am glad to see my congressman - Tom McClintock is one of the
co-sponsors.
Will write him and thank him.
BMAC
McClintock
Yes, he is one of the good ones! His district got pretty chopped up with the 2010 Census redistricting.
He should have been governor
I voted for McClintock. Arnie was a bad choice. He is probably better than Honda.
