If you live in Dave Camp's district

here in Michigan, you will want to go to his facebook page and instruct him to support HR 459.

Famous Quote from Justice William O. Douglas

"The Constitution is not neutral.
It was designed to take the government
off the backs of people."

Thanks everybody.

Here we go again. I hope.

Ron Paul is My President

My fax to my neighboring rep

..cause my rep (woolsey) is already on board...yessss!!!

Dear Rep. Thompson,

I, along with 70% of the American people demanded a full audit of the federal reserve last session of congress. I spoke with you at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, as well as through fax, and email lat year. I asked you if you would support an audit of the Federal Reserve and you stated that you would be in support of it. Then a few months later, I recieved an automated email about the legislation, in which you replied that you couldn\'t support the legislation based on the premise that the FED should stay independent and without congressional interference. Now we have seen a watered down version pass last congressional session but, I along with many other people were very dissapointed in the final language of the amendment and wished a true, full audit was put in place. We believe that the FED is in no way above the law, and that if the People of the United States have to adhere to audits, the FED should be no different.

During the 112th Congress, the citzenry will once again demand for a transparent FED accompanied by accountability from the congress to oversee and regulate the FED\'s loans, as well as their interactions with foriegn governments, the IMF, the World Bank and other private Central Banks. This legislation would in NO way impede the direction of monotary policy and or the FED\'s independance. What the bill does accomplish is a full audit of the Federal Reserve by the Comtroller General.

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas has reintroduced the Federal Reserve Transparency Act (H.R 459) and so far has (55) co-sponsers. Last session the 2010 Audit the Fed bill recieved bi-parisen support with 320 co-sponsers in the house 32 in the Senate. The degree of bi-partisenship must therefore show how this issue is in no way a party issue, but rather an issue that all political alignments can rally behind. If Sen. Sanders and Rep. Ron Paul can support it, I certainly hope that you can too.

Thank you for your time Congressman,

- Brennan

Nicely done!

Mind if I do a modified copy/paste to save time? :)

Round Two...ding, ding!

RP R3VOLution

Just go down the list of those who supported in the past

Should be easy to get some of them on board.

Where's Justin Amash?

I have high hopes for that guy.

He didn't have the bill to read.

but as you know he is on it now. Amash didn't get the bill to read in time to cosponsor it the first time around. Not to throw Ron Paul under the bus or anything like that, Amash likes to read the bill before he cosponsors it.

He stated on hi FB account that he did cosponsor it

We'll see if it shows up on thomas.gov.

Win this one

Pass the bill. Obama will surely veto it, then make this a big issue in 2012 election. If we can force every candidate take a position on this issue and let them debate this issue with Ron Paul, we will win big.

We won't be able to audit the fed any time soon. Our focus should be making this a debate issue of presidential campaign.

“History has never been dominated by majorities, but only by dedicated minorities who stand unconditionally on their faith.” --R.J. Rushdoony

Let's keep this one at the

top.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

Co-sponsoring means

Co-sponsoring means nothing.

Wait for a vote on it. Then we will see how many people will be willing to turn their backs on all that campaign money. You also have to wait for the actual audit...a perfunctory audit that has no real teeth behind it would have a lot of support.

Doesn't look like he is a cosponsor yet. Anyone making calls to ask him to get on board?
