You are most welcome Celeste

and right back at ya!

I am so happy for OUR guy. And all of us who pushed for this win.

I bet Ron's got a big grin on now!

:)

Ron Paul is My President

Here's the CSPAN video of the vote

Shelia Jackson Lee (TX) No

Shelia Jackson Lee (TX) No Vote

Worthless piece of trash. I truly hate her.

"Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." -Benjamin Franklin

Little Elm, Tx

Just called her...

She did not vote due to "personal reasons"

My response : Dr. Paul was on a presidential campaign and STILL found time to represent his district. Sheila is Fail.

I hate her too. Thank you for providing the lead in for that

so I could say it too. EFF her. What a relief. Ef her again.

Those 98 better be voted out

Those 98 better be voted out next go-around!

Unfortunately, my representative was one of the nays

I keep voting against the incumbent, but it hasn't helped yet.

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

-C. S. Lewis

It's about damn time!

Woohoo! What now? Didn't it already pass the Senate?

Is it a done deal? Ron Paul all the way!

It has not passed Senate yet

It still needs to pass Senate. And will be a uphill battle in the Senate. Last I checked S 202 (the Senate Bill) has only 20 (of 100) co-sponsors. That is where we really need to focus now. This bill has died in the Senate before and we need to make sure that doesn't happen again. Call you Senators and inform them that the bill in the House just passed with a 86% approval rating and we expect it to pass the Senate also.

I think your math is wrong

76%

Embarrassed

So embarrassed that this man is my district's congressman...the funny thing is I had a feeling it was him before we found out for sure because I didn't see his name on the list of co-sponsors.

First I had Anthony Weiner representing me, and now this sell-out.

I feel your pain

I feel your pain, I have a warmonger by the name of Jim Gerlach. Just so happens to be the guy (according to opencongress.org) That paul votes least often with, very shameful. Luckily he came through for me on this one. At least I don't have harry reid for a senator...speaking of which I need to go have some words with him...

What else does one expect

IN NEW YORK STATE?!

For The Power of The Republic!

goes to Senate

pretty sure and Harry Reid wants it to die and not be voted on ... if ever we flood the phones of all senators - emails and faxes .. it is now.
They have to get sick of hearing from us on this one.

Harry Reid is the anthesis

of what this country needs, imo. I live in NV and have yet to meet a Harry Reid supporter. Hmmmmmmmmm

Republican

Bob Turner R-NY-9. (East and south Queens)

website

http://bobturner.house.gov/

The revolution will fully let this man know that he made a solid terrible misstake when we campaign hard for his opponent. Who cares if 1 dem gets in. The message has to be sent to the GOP that we are not playing around, with anyone.

According to wikipedia, his district was messed up

in redistricting and he had no shot at the new one, so he ran for Senate, but lost the primary to a woman by the name of Wendy Long.

I don't really see any evidence that he's running for anything this year. We may be out of luck in terms of campaigning against him.

edit: New York times confirms: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/04/nyregion/representative-bo...

Figured it would be a New Yorker

Still, after reading the article and what Turner claimed to stand for, it seems a curious vote.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
~ John Muir

I was just about to post

I was just about to post about this. After a little research, it looks like this guy is running for US Senate in 2012. Did he do this for political purposes? Either way, I hope he loses his bid for US Senate because of it!

Hey!

who keeps changing the title of my thread?

Ron Paul is My President

Huzzah!

next step: politely bug your Senators??

When Benjamin Franklin exited the constitutional convention, he was asked by a woman: "Sir, what have you given us?" His immediate response was: "A Republic Ma'am, if you can keep it."

Anyone have the recorded list

Anyone have the recorded list of Yays and Nays yet? Regardless how they voted our representatives should be hearing from us today!

roll call

thank you for posting this

was looking to see how they voted .... only one Rep voted against - get rid of all who voted against this ....and many that voted for it need to go to - but that is another story .... congrats Dr Paul and those in congress who finally did what is right by listening to the people.

Awesome; now to show the

Awesome; now to show the faces of the ones that voted no to be run out of office for next term clean house, now we shall see the true colors of the sentors.

time for champagne

but save some for Nov.

OMG what a fantastic day!!!

CONGRATS Dr. Paul
good things do happen for those who wait

Way to go Dems

Props to the close to 90 Dems who broke with party leadership and voted for this bill. Something like 47%.

We need to see that in the Senate now.

Except
