That was weird, being interviewed on a subway! But, Rand IS

going to run for prez and he's going to win. He absolutely stands on his own, but the way has been paved for him by the honorable and humble Dr. Ron Paul.

If Ron Paul doesn't win in

If Ron Paul doesn't win in 2012, it's Rand in 2016! I probably don't agree with him on every issue, but he really sounds great in this interview.

“Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it.” -George Bernard Shaw

He already has more common

He already has more common sense and approachable wit than our sitting president.

Love it.

What do they call it - a devil-may-care attitude? Does that mean who cares how the devil feels? Anyway, I don't think he gives a darn what anyone thinks. He's a straight shooter. It's a pleasure to hear him speak.

The MSM : Public Enemy # 1

They're A Bunch Of Viperous Degenerate Scum..Devoid Of Morals And Principles...The ABC Hack Interviewing Rand Paul On The Subway Is Johnathan Karl..He And John King's Wife Dana Bash Are The Pushiest Reporters On The Hill..

Do You Remember When They Hounded Outgoing Republican Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning At The Senate Building Elevator?

Much as I despise the MSM the

Much as I despise the MSM the above interview was fair and allowed Rand Paul to fully express his views. I can't imagine Chris Matthews treating him that well.

You may be right

...about Karl, but I thought the interview was pretty good. He tried to corner Rand on Education but Rand is getting really good at staying out of the muck and staying on message. Rand is one month in and he is already one of the bigtime faces in the Senate.

Very nice.

A regular show like this. . . perhaps every week. . . would be fantastic.

We want to hear the national and global events of the week summed up, explained and analyzed from RAND's point of view.

It will augment nicely with Judge A Nap's punchy fast-paced Freedom Watch and Ron Paul's low-keyed steady weekly newsletter.

If I may "color-code" them, that will be GREEN for Rand, RED for Judge A Nap and BLUE for RON. . . all three organically and beautifully carrying us into light and wisdom. (ok, ok. . . I do get carried away with these pastel color symbolisms. sorry if it irritates you. ;-)

That was great

Rand is coming through loud and clear. He is getting really good with interviews.

My question is

why do we never hear anyone say let's cut senators' and reps' salaries and benefits in half? I am all for other cuts but why don't these "gods" among man ever talk about cutting "their" money. Hell it's a miracle if they go a year without a nice fat raise!

Formerly rprevolutionist

Ron raises it all the time. He always voted against the raise

when it was voted on, then they made it automatic and now he puts in bills to stop it. He put one in cutting Rep pay every year the budget wasn't balanced, too.

Mind you the bills went no where, but last year he did pass a bill as cosponsor that froze salaries for the year.

My favorite part is at the

My favorite part is at the end when he says 'hopefully I didn't say anything that hurts me too bad right' the laughs like he doesn't care if he did anyway.

Yup - that was priceless :)

Only the acceptance of the truth can defeat systemic evil.

Perhaps, now, Rand is used

Perhaps, now, Rand is used to drawing fire and being misquoted with opportuned sound bites and laughed because drawing fire is expected.

That was a pretty funny

That was a pretty funny ending to the interview. Great job, Rand!

We are so spoiled by our great Moxnews.com!

No frill, no force-feeding of advertisement at Moxnews. . . I think he needs more monthly subscribers to be free to concentrate on what he does so well. . . all for the liberty movement.

They're beating up on Rand

At HuffPost, someone put these people in their place.

Maybe I'm missing the punch

Maybe I'm missing the punch but it seemed that Huffpo reported the interview accurately....I'm not a fan of Huffington Post.

I'm interviewing Rand on

I'm interviewing Rand on camera at CPAC for a Huff Po piece, I will put them in their place. They'll eventually see that Rand is not like the others and have supporters like his father.

This interview means little if you and I do not email it to swayable people we know.

To invite people to change their minds, ideas must be made palatable without compromising on their principles. Very hard to find a more palatable 15 minutes that makes the case for smaller government, WHILE giving important details of how to get there.

I'm off to a meeting, but will forward this link to my circle when I get back. I challenge you to spread it. If you want the things Rand espouses to come to pass, you can't just Roger Ebert your way through videos like this, thumbs-up or thumbs down.

Second challenge:
To those who opposed Rand Paul's Senate election, tell us if you are cemented in your non-support or if his first month's activism will spur you to give your time and treasure to this new Senator.

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

friggin awesome

Rand is so eloquent and smooth. That is a future president.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Great Interview!

I loved what he said about our aid to Israel. What democrat would dare say anything remotely like this?

Thanks for posting

As much as Rand Paul still

As much as Rand Paul still managed to stay focussed and present a good interview despite the strange distractions on the subway, why would ABC conduct a senatorial interview on a subway??? The background noise and movement of the subway cars...the stops...the doors opening and closing...the passengers in the backdrop coming and going...the congested seating of Senator Paul and interviewer all lend itself to a mocked-up interview. Is this the best ABC can do?

He's So Popular

They have to take him when they can get him.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

I think they have a series of these longer, 'casual' interviews

to give people the idea they are less scripted. Sort of like the women at the View with their cups of coffee and pretend social gathering (like that group would gather in its spare time....)

What is that little cute subway train?

So small and seemed to go back and forth a few stations only ?

Very good interview.
