Wrongly Convicted Man Stays Positive...



For the first time in his life, Barney Brown walked down the halls of Miramar High on Thursday.

Seeing the sports trophies in the glass cases reminded him of his dream: winning a championship title for the school's baseball team.

Spotting meeting announcements on bulletin boards made him wish he could have been president of the engineering club.

And looking at the faces of students made him remember a time when he was a popular 15-year-old.

Instead of making his way through high school, Brown was serving time in prison, convicted of rape and robbery. But after spending 38 of his 56 years behind bars, he was freed by a judge who said his conviction never should have happened.

I wonder if any one will pay for their mistakes? (as in the error of the records being "lost" , or at the very least hefty compensation!)
