President Paul in 2012? Rep. Ron Paul heads to Iowa
Submitted by bobbyw24 on Mon, 02/07/2011 - 10:01Rep. Ron Paul will deliver an address to Iowa-based conservative group The Family Leader, and spend a day traveling around the state, an early sign that the Texas Republican is mulling another presidential run.
The libertarian-leaning Paul joins a growing list of prospective Republican presidential candidates, including former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who are scheduled to address the group during the next few months.

All of us dedicated supporters of his 2008 try & now should
write a personal letter to him, where he will get it, where NO ONE ELSE will open it, at 1 of his Texas Congressional offices, encouraging him, asking him, requesting of him to get a whole new slate of staff, I'm serious, if he does decide to do this. We don't want to see a repeat of the 2008 difficulties, even if it was a learning experience.
I suggest staffing from the grassroots, volunteer supporters, since there were problems/ complaints about the national & state offices. Rand should receive a copy of what you sent to Grandfather Paul. We have to express ourselves so he knows how real & serious this is.
For some reason, we're expected to know every law that exists in America & in our state so we don't break it. We're supposed to know this when we're 18. There's no litmus test for them, as in the 10 commandments or rhyme or reason. C.U.R.E.
I believe he can do it, but
does he believe he can? Why all this "mulling" around. It seems like to me, that if you wanted to be in the race, you'ld be upfront, clear, and determined. All this sitting on your hands just let's the press get warmed up to Romney and it projects feelings of wishy washy.

I personally have the greatest respect and admiration for Dr. Paul and his son Rand. I believe they are good men.
Alas, sadly I cannot vote for them as long as they remain shackled to unlawful and morally and fiscally bankrupt corporate governments such as the UNITED STATES CORPORATION, which in turn is owned by the FEDERAL RESERVE CORPORATION, which itself is owned by Wall St. and foreign banks (IMF).
Do you want to live under corporate rule? Your vote counted by corporations? Fighting corporate wars? Paying taxes to corporations?
The courageous and wise founders of this nation provided a remedy to the dangers facing the American people today. The solution has been staring us in the face for over 200 years!

Your topic, though philosophical, is disjointed and inaccurate. To discuss it would be a distraction. We are not so naive to believe you could not have posted it here for exactly that purpose! The alternative is not complementary to your intelligence and sense of urgency!
Further, your conclusion allows you two alternatives: continue to live in slavery and lick the chains that bind you, or escape from your prison and flee to the 'fictitious isle'!
All plans and actions of battle require strategy, some overt, some subtle. Working in the trenches of the precincts and ultimately voting, are but two of the most important. The unwise continue to philosophize when it is time to 'mount the hill'.
Folks, the distractions will mount to tremendous size and volume, but they must be ignored.
The next country which blows up it's capitol, which starts a revolution, which begs our boys to die, should be entirely ignored by those loving a return to constitutional liberty! It is time to go into the precincts for Ron Paul. It is past time to philosophize and contemplate! Enough already with the distractions!

Saw this report on CNN
except they only mentioned that Haley Barbour would be meeting with a small group of Conservatives. Additionally they said that he is the first potential Presidential candidate to go to Iowa in the lead up to the elections. Was a pretty bizarre statement for a fairly mediocre development.

They say on their web site they support family values and marriage, but they invite Newt Gingrich? Why? Because Gingrich is the latest neo-con Faux is pushing for president?
What's Gingrich up to now? Is he on his fourth or fifth bimbo?

DES MOINES – Another potential 2012 Republican presidential candidate has accepted an invitation to address a key GOP constituency group as Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucus season continues to gear up.
Officials of the FAMiLY LEADER organization say U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, has confirmed he will be the featured speaker at their Presidential Lecture Series on March 7. Congressman Paul is scheduled to deliver a pro-family lecture and meet with members of Leadership Roundtables at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Pella Christian High School in Pella, and the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Congressman Paul will follow former Minnesota Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who is kicking off the educational series today.
