Fox News' Ron Paul Problem - How Fox Spun Ron Paul's CPAC 2010 Straw Poll Win
Submitted by TheLibertyUnder... on Sat, 02/12/2011 - 12:52If you're wondering, how the Conservative media outlet, Fox News, would cover this year's ongoing CPAC event, and which Republican they'll push forward to be the potential candidate to take on President Obama in the 2012 Presidential elections, the above clip should give you more than an idea.
At the last year's conference, Ron Paul emerged as the Straw Poll winner by an overwhelming majority beating other mainstream Republicans like Sarah Palin and Mike Huckleberry (who also happen to be on Fox News payroll, coincidentally). This obviously didn't go down well with the Conservative news network's executives and their anchors went on a crusade to belittle and downplay the importance of the poll. It certainly didn't do any good to whatever little credibility that Fox did have, because they were all praises for the Neo-conservative Mitt Romney when he emerged as the winner in the previous 3 straw polls.
