CPAC 2011 Results you might not have been aware of!

CPAC food for thought:

When Romney won the straw poll in 2008, their were 1558 total votes. In 2010, when Dr. Paul won, their were 2395 votes. This year there were 3742 votes! That's more than a 50% increase in less than a year!

There were 5% less 18-25 year old attendees than last year, hence, more older voters joined in the last year.

84% of the voters believe that their core beliefs and ideology is "...promoting individual freedom and reducing the size and scope of government and its intrusion into the life of its citizens." (Beats all talking points that are constantly raised by other potential candidates).

Dr. Ron Paul won both 1st and 2nd choice votes. Paul 37%, Romney 31%, Johnson 21%. Paul and Johnson together, equals 59% of the total vote.

Conclusion, the message is alive and well! Congratulations Dr. Paul!

No wonder -

the Neo-coms are scared. They're scurrying to do some damage control.

Thank you very much. I wonder why this gets so little interest?

It is refreshing to see Dr Ron Paul do so well.

Free coffee?
CPAC food? I did not see any.

No problem

I heard there were second choice votes, did a search and stumbled on this. Wish this was what was being spoken about instead of Trump's comment.
