Matt Taibbi: Why Isn't Wall Street in Jail?

Matt hits it out of the ball park again on the relationship between Washington, D.C. and Wall Street:

Why won't Matt Taibbi ask the more central question?

Why aren't Wall Street, Geitner ( and Paulson) and the crooks at the Fed in jail ?.....

Because Matt Taibbi refuses to attack the head of the beast- his beloved state. As good as his reporting is, he keeps on missing the point, the state facilitates these crimes and protects their partners in crime through it's power.

Wake up Matt.

Where is the press and MSM on this?

Why aren't they screaming about this and inflaming the public? Because the corporate media is in bed with their bankster friends on Wall Street and the elite in government, to keep this issue subdued. They don't want an outraged public going after Wall St with pitchforks. So they allow an occasional Matt Taibbi article to filter through in an obscure publication, so the public thinks the media is on top of this.

Just yet another example . .

of how this country of sheep is brainwshed into thinking that BLUE collar crime must be cracked down on to extremes, but this sort of thing is just fine.
Many days I feel this country's people deserve what they get.
Ultimately each country's people get what they deserve because they allow it to happen right?

War is an instrument entirely inefficient toward redressing wrong; and multiplies, instead of indemnifying losses.
Thomas Jefferson

I thought this to be interesting reply by Mike Johnson:

"War especially constant war is very expensive, usually ruinously expensive. Corrupt finance is the way that the State of War is financed. Wall Street has the green light to proceed in this fashion as a compensated agent charged with inflating asset values to assist the defense of the US Empire.
Since this kind of finance leads to severe collapses as the fraud is inevitable uncovered the firms must be bailed out and their recapitalization charged off to the taxpayers while the executives are spared prosecution and fines are purely token in nature.
If this were not done the US Empire would collapse permanently. This will happen eventually when the fraud/bust cycle is fully exhausted but until we have to keep dancing."

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

Could it be?

That is why the media and the establishment republicans are so opposed to a Ron Paul candidacy. This corruption runs deep in both parties and at the highest levels of government. Maybe they have a reason to fear an honest man, especially one put in a position to expose this. When you go against the Federal Reserve, the military industrial complex, and the constitution violating federal government you will get blow back. They may be able to stop the man but they will never be able to stop his message of freedom.
