USA Today: Ron Paul to weigh presidential bid after 'money bomb'

Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, is raising campaign money on Presidents Day. CAPTIONBy Alex Brandon, APThe Texan is trying to raise campaign cash before he decides whether to run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012. A note announcing the fundraising campaign on Facebook states Paul will announce his official candidacy for the White House "if we show him enough support."
As of 2 p.m. ET, Paul raised more than $414,000 through Liberty PAC, his political action committee. Paul hailed George Washington as a "freedom fighter" and one of the country's greatest presidents in a message to supporters on Liberty PAC

I believe Ron is going to run. He is the most popular candidate (among liberals and conservatives) on the web. There is no way he should not use it to his advantage. Things are a lot of different now compared to 2008.
