Dems For Paul . . . Video

I am the owner of progressives for Ron Paul blog which appears in this video. I did not make the video....I do think that videos of all sorts ought to go out. These videos have a particular appeal but I think we need others making videos. Perhaps when the campaign actually gets started a slicker ad can be produced from ideas that have been brewing for a while. I say more videos and let's get at least a dozen or so going viral. of course, I am fine with my blog being promoted in the process.

I'm all for it if it gets more votes for RP, but the fact that he makes it out that only if the dollar collapses and Barack can't win confuses me. Why would anyone want Barack back in office after spending more then Bush did in less then 1/2 the time?

The premise that Ron Paul is Progressive, like this video poster implies is incorrect. The Progressive Era started with Woodrow Wilson, who got us into WW1, and truly began our road towards militarism, foreign interventionism, and globalism by promoting the League of Nations, and later the United Nations. Progressives started the 16th Amendment, the Federal Income Tax, the Federal Reserve, and the 17th Amendment, thus accomplishing the 2nd and 5th planks of the Communist Manifesto. Later durring the progressive era under FDR, gold was confiscated. Neocons are RINO's because they are actually Progressives. It's always been Democrats that got us into wars, and Republicans that got us out of wars, until the Neocons took over the Republican Party. Neocon ideology is even influenced by Leon Trotsky, early communist, who wrote on behalf of "permanent revolution, or permanent war, to keep the people active and busy supporting the state." Something Ron Paul has mentioned a time or 2.

So I say Welcome, but know the truth. The ideas that you profess to today, do not symbolize those that began the progressive era, and are actually opposite! I call you Classical Liberals, and I like Classical Liberals because they agree with Paleo Conservatives on individual liberty, foreign policy, and some areas of agreement on monetary policy. These are the big ones that matter!

2 bucks says if Classical Liberals who are calling themselves Progressives flood the Republican ranks that the Neocons will flee to the Democratic Party! Obama has continued the wars, and we might get involved with Libya, Pakistan, or Iran at any time, so I could see Lindsay Graham, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfelf, or both George Bush's voting for Obama over Ron Paul! After all it was George 41 that said "It is to the United Nations Charter that Americans will henceforth pledge their allegiance." Sounds progressive to me!

Don't be angry with me for pointing out the truth. Role reversal happens in political thought sometimes. Democrats used to be for states rights, now it's Republicans. There are many more examples. So I give you a heartfelt and warm Welcome, but know the truth.
