Paul's Professionals
Revenge of the professional class
We are witnessing the decline of the capital class (typically defined as those who make in excess of one million dollars per year and control the allocation of capital funds) in this country. Make no mistake this is a fight only recently joined and the outcome is still in doubt. Since 1913 the capital class has controlled the American media, indirectly the US government agenda as well as America's macro-economics. With the widespread adoption of open communication formats (the internet, cell phones, and low cost computers) and the subsequent rise of Ron Paul's presidental candidacy, the bankers and power brokers are becoming worried that the Ron Paul revolution will succeed, if not now in the near future when the full impact of the federal deficit is felt. A review of Paul's campaign contributors indicates that people who make in excess of sixty thousand dollars per year are the core of his support - more so than any other candidate. Clearly these people cannot be from the capital class since they have the most to lose (in the short term) from a Paul presidency. No, these "high dollar" contributors to Paul's campaign must be from the so-called professional class, those who earn their wealth the old fashioned way - through their hard labor, foresight, education, and geniune good fortune. Paul's campaign represents a revolt of the professional class against their masters in the capital class. Professionals, including Dr. Paul himself, have realized that the game of life is stacked against them even though they are the ones who make this country truly great by introducing the new ideas, technology, and keeping the economy running on its most basic level. As a close friend of mine who has created his own small technology manufacuring company puts it, the "suits" control access to both venture capital funding and marketing exposure, it is nearly impossible to compete without the support of the capital class and he has found that his ideas are often simply stolen after being told his products are not worthy of funding. Professionals are also quite aware of their losses from federal taxes since they typically pay more per capita than those few individuals in the capital class. This is yet another stone in the eye of those who represent the real innovation in this country. However America's professionals are beginning to realize that the capital class has out-sourced all of their critical management and creative functions to professionals - including those in the investment, banking, IT, pharmaceutical, government, and military industries. Our nation's professionals are beginning to realize that they have held the real control over our economic and political process all along. Fortunately nearly all professionals, because of their typical middle-america background strongly believe in the American dream and the founding principles of this nation. it is time to take back America from those who would create a permanent ruling class and sell our hard-won sovereignty to the highest bidder! Vote for Paul!
