US air attack kills 9 boys ages 12 and under; Karzai Rejects Apology

Seriously, when will this ever end? How many lives must be taken? I pray for the families of these boys and I feel great pain and guilt knowing my tax dollars are being used to destroy this harmless country and their people.

How can the Republicans be sooooo up-in-arms when it comes to tax payers funding of the murder of innocent unborn children yet completely turn a blind eye to the murder of 9 children paid for by those same tax dollars?

Our country has lost it's moral compass in bipartisan distractions.

I truly believe Dr. Paul's message is the only hope for our country and the world.

I live in London UK..

..but Im from Sweden.. I havent seen any news about this anywhere except here.. I know that the British government and media is extremely good at keeping "bad" publicity for the war out and mass produce these "hero" stories and war propaganda, still doing their best in putting fear in the people.. Just look at www.dailymail.co.uk and read about the news they produced today.. its insane!

Oh and just to add.. They were quick to publish the "new images of 9/11 terror attack" in the Swedish news to remind the people once more.. all this propaganda, It makes me sick to the stomach..

Alex0 - That's why you come here to the DailyPaul for the truth!

Pass it on to all your friends.

Believe me - Here in America this kind of information is not front page news either.

As much as I hate the Bush Administration for their war crimes, at least during his reign the press (seemed) to showed us much more war news.

But since their darling Obama took office, the war has all but disappeared from the main-stream media in the U.S.

Even the liberal anti-war movement has quieted down or gone away altogether. As though we didn't even have soldiers in the Middle East anymore.

But we now have 100,000 troops in Afghanistan alone.

And even though Obama SAYS he is leaving Iraq and Afghanistan - he will not.

He may draw-down the troops enough to satisify his faithful followers and to appease whatever remaining media who is trying to tell the truth.

But I'll guarantee you - the US will leave the Middle East just like we left Germany, Korea, Japan, Phillipines, Okinawa and the 130 other countries we have military bases in.

This big fancy military bases in Iraq and a US embassay larger than the Vatican weren't built with the idea of tearing them down anytime soon.

So when the war-monger John McCain said he would support us being in Iraq for the next 100 years, he wasn't just kidding around.

Afterall, McCain and his war-monger friends in Congress control the military purse.

DailyPaul is my first visit I make every morning to get some real honest news..

I have relatives in Rock, MI and in Oakdale, Minnesota so I try to at least keep them updated and have them try to spread the word as much as they can..

I would very much one day get the opportunity to come over and maybe meet up with some of you guys to promote!

But until then I will be doing my best on this side of the Atlantic :)

Great to hear you're putting the word out Alex0...

And I've often thought a gathering of DailyPaul members would be a very cool thing.

I feel like I have a kindred spirit with many who visit here.

Maybe a late summer or autumn event and take a collection to pay for Michael's trip, hotel, meals if he wanted to do such a thing.

Give a lot of notice so people could plan.

OR better yet, if Dr. Paul runs again, schedule a DailyPaul meetup around a big campaign event.

This, too, shall pass

When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall -- think of it, ALWAYS. - Gandhi

"Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory." --- Sun Tzu, The Art of War.

Gandhi was delusional show me

Gandhi was delusional

show me a time that "truth and love" has won and I'll show you a preconceived lull in a plan that is so long term in scope that the majority of us cannot even fathom it.

HOWEVER, I personally think that all is as it should be, recognize the strife and embrace it, for NO wisdom is ever gained with out trials and tribulations.

the easy path leads us to where we are today.

“One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” Plato

Sooooo Sad...

then you add that together with the HEROIN related deaths and misery from "his brothers" opium trade...and man your starting to see the genocide here huh ???

Thanks Obama

For continuing Bush's nosedive. Let's remember not to blame the soldiers, their job is to fight wars, and when you fight a war you kick ass until the other side surrenders. The problem we have is that this is not a war, it's a few idiots in caves running around fighting the 'occupiers' as they see us!!!!

This will never end, we just created 45 more 'terrorists' (9 boys x 5 devastated family members each = 45 people who lost everything and have nothing left but to get revenge on us...)

Wake up America, this is not a war. If it were a war they would have surrendered day 1, we will never get every single person in the Middle East to lay down their arms... duh! We are wasting lives and money!!!!!!

They are cut

from the same cloth (Republicans(RP an exception), Democrats, etc...)

Obama has taken the baton and will continue the race until he passes it to the next runner. IF there is a next runner...

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

Your kids get bombed and an apology isn't enough? We'd all be satisfied with an apology if our kids were bombed to death, wouldn't we?

"Masters of War" startles

Dylan sings how we felt in the 60's/70's when I was in Nam.
I still feel like this today!

"Masters of War" startles Dylan himself. "I've never really written anything like that before," he recalls. "I don't sing songs which hope people will die, but I couldn't help it in this one. The song is a sort of striking out, a reaction to the last straw, a feeling of what can you do?" The rage (which is as much anguish as it is anger) is a away of catharsis, a way of getting temporary relief from the heavy feeling of impotence that affects many who cannot understand a civilization which juggles it's own means for oblivion and calls that performance an act toward peace.

Masters Of War
Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build the big bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks

You that never done nothin’
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it’s your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly

Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain

You fasten the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion
As young people’s blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud

You’ve thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain’t worth the blood
That runs in your veins

How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I’m young
You might say I’m unlearned
But there’s one thing I know
Though I’m younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die
And your death’ll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I’ll watch while you’re lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I’ll stand o’er your grave
’Til I’m sure that you’re dead

Just as relevant today as it was when he wrote it...

yet, the warmongers continue...

Ooops...Just a little more collateral damage...

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rove, Powell, Perle, Bolton, Woolsey, Abrams, Feith, Libby, Kristol, Barnes, Murdoch, Hannity, O'Reilly, Bernanke, Paulson and every member of Congress who authorized the illegal invasion of Iraq SHOULD BE IN PRISON FOR WAR CRIMES.

And if Obama had any guts at all he would have begun war crimes trial proceedings by now.

Instead, I'm about to add him to my list above.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

WTH? "I'm about to add him to my list above."

What's taken you so long?

So you don't blame the Bush bunch for any of it huh?

It was all Obama's fault I guess.

Let's not forget that as an Illinois state senator he spoke out agressively against the Iraq war.

He could not vote against it yet because he was not a US Senator yet.

So while I don't like what Obama has done towards ending the war(s), I realize the forces against him.

But time has just about run out and I don't think we're ever really getting out of Iraq anyway.

Obama voted to fund the war

Obama voted to fund the war in Iraq every year he was in the Senate! Only complete ignorance would leave anyone to believe he was against the war. Obama = Bush there is no difference....this was known to anyone who took the time to look.

Oh geez not enough drama..

Did I say anything about not blaming Busch? My goodness did someone piss in your wheaties or what? For a president that was supposed to end some wars, he only increased the number of soldiers and pretended that we were finished in Iraq.

My comment was simply JOKING...HOW COME IT TOOK SO LONG. Didn't realize your panties were in a constant wad, and that somehow my asking that question meant that I somehow worshiped and loved Bush and his atrocities. Grow up.

...what brought you over?

If murdering all those Afghans for the first two years of his regime didn't do it, then threatening the Jonas Bros must have clinched it ("Two words: predator drones. [ ha ha -- snicker ]")

Do what?

He threatened the Jonas Bros?..really? Haha that's to much.

God, Please let these people know that the majority of

Americans are not in agreement with what our government/military is doing overseas right now. I surely hope these people do not hate all Americans just because some in power decide to do the wrong thing, and kill innocent people.

Obama is the one with blood on his hands

He orders these attacks - he endorses these attacks - he condones these deaths - he is the one responsible. Shame on him, and may God have mercy on his soul. Hell awaits the warmongers of the world.

There are many bloody hands besides

the warchief: his military, all the congresspigs who fund the military=industrial complex, all the bureaucrats who shuffle the paperwork that makes the war agencies function, all the war profiteers and mercenaries, all the military police and courts and jailers and torturers, all the CIA drones and spy networks.

the people have to wake up and stop the funding; that is the source. And that is our work, educating and convincing the unawakened.

Don't forget; the American

Don't forget; the American people have their blood on it as well...we voted for these people. The Afghanistan war had tremendous biparistan support. The Iraqi war less so but still a clear majority. And it wasn't unil 2007 when the country became against the war...and they then proceeded to supported John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Sarah Palin, three warmongering warmongerers. The left completely abandoned their anti-war message when Obama took office and didn't change a thing from Bush...

And can anyone doubt today, that if Obama pulled out of Iraq, he'd be labeled as a weak president, Fox News would beat him up time and time again, scare the populace, and support for the war would increase.

Don't pull that 'we' sh#$ on me!

I didn't vote for any of these warmongers. Obama was NEVER against the war...I don't know why people think he was?!? Obama voted to fund the war every year he was in the Senate. Obama voted for the reauthorization of the Patriot Act while in the Senate.

Obama is a weak president because he won't pull out of Iraq! Who gives a f@#$ about Fox Noise or the idiots that watch it? I haven't watched TV in 3 years because I don't really care what paid actors are told to say, and you know what...I doubt I've missed anything important.

Don't over-collectivize the guilt. You are

correct that the mass of Americans are complicit, if only by silence and acquiescence.

But there were a significant core of Americans protesting before and ever since the Iraq was and escalation in Afghanistan. It wasn't all "we" Americans who gave support in any way. Guilt is individual by individual, that's why war is always wrong. It hurts too many innocents.

I don't accept any blame for any of it - bullsh#$@

I didn't "vote" for these pretended "leaders"! They are the killers - don't blame the victims (foreign or domestic) for their atrocities!!!
