Why Haven't I heard Ted Nugent Supporting RP?

This is someone we need to get on board. Ted has so many common positions and RP would get lots of publicity. how do we inform Ted?

A couple others

I was thinking through artist who might be inclined to endorse RP to use in my next video. The obvious choice was the man who hates the IRS and loves weed more than anyone. Mr Willie Nelson. Unfortunately he is apparently supporting Kucinic. I think when he drops out several more anti war celebs will go our way.

My personal bet for next RP musical endorser: John Popper from Blues Traveler. He is pro legalization and also an avid gun rights supporter/ survivalist.

Other ideas besides Teddy Bear Nugent

yea - teddywas on Faux news and way out in his own galaxy....WAY Crude...Let him" help" Fred Thompson...

I agree RP needs celebrity endorsements to just get his name out a bit more.....
How about Kurt Russell? He is a libertarian and Kennedy form MTV fame - Rep/lib......And my gosh there have to be some Free Speech, Gun Rights Country music singers / patriots that would support him??? Any idears in that vein? Perhaps in Music/movies people who dont vote for politically acceptable parties are scared for their careers. hows that for freedom!

Someone here will think of someone that a friend or family members knows.....We are after all barely seperated form each other...

Can we just forget about Ted

Can we just forget about Ted Nugent?

Can we just forget about Ted Nugent?

Yeah, I'd sure like that. In fact, I've been trying for years but he's just so darn loud.

I'd say no to Nugent

Check out this vid

thanks

i'd seen ted on glenn beck or something and he sounded libertarian, although the subject of iraq never came up. i was in the dark about that. well, in that case, nevermind my post

Yea the NRA has sold out.

Yea the NRA has sold out. The GOA, Gun Owners Of America, is now the organization of true 2nd Amendment proponents

Why Ted Nugent Endorsement?

There are many reasons why Ted Nugent would not endorse Ron Paul. And there are even more reasons Ron Paul should run away from Ted Nugent as fast as he can, were Nugent to even try to endorse him.

1. Ted Nugent is a total jerk. He is intentionally provocative because he is marketing his "brand." The last thing the gentlemanly Ron Paul needs is a dope like Nugent endorsing him.

2. Iraq - Nugent has shown himself to be a complete neo-con stooge on this matter. Too much time shouting and playing the guitar, not enough time spent in silent contemplation of the damage done by foreign adventurism.

3. Nuget is an NRA stooge. And as should be very obvious, the NRA is the leading gun control organization in America. They routinely give a pass to anti-gun politicians either because they're Republicans, or they back the NRA's versions of gun control-lite. That's why the NRA has actively campaigned AGAINST Ron Paul in the past. Were Ron Paul president, the NRA would have no choice but to join the Brady Campaign and let everyone know that they've been in favor of gun control all along.

4. Did I say that Nugent is a self-promoting jerk? Any candidate who gets his "endorsement" will immediately drop in the polls.

For one thing, they have a

For one thing, they have a rather large disagreement on Iraq, Ted says nuke'em, Ron says withdraw... But you're right, they do share quite a few common views and Ron could use the endorsement...

Ted Nugent is a Fred Head

I read somewhere that Ted Nugent is supporting Fred Thompson.

I think that Michael Farris, founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), should endorse Ron Paul. Then a lot of home schoolers would vote for Dr. Paul.

Ron Paul really should have the home school vote already, but for some reason a lot of them like Mike Huckabee, Sam Brownback, or Fred Thompson. I think a lot of them are skeptical about the danger to our national sovereignty (and to their right to home school). If I could, I'd buy them all a copy of Jerome Corsi's: The Late Great USA.

Not sure about the other two

But many vote Huckabee because he is the obvious choice for the religious vote, and homeschoolers are almost always religious.
