U.S. military officials have confirmed the first American tomahawk cruise missiles have been fired at targets inside Libya from ships in the Mediterranean Sea...The first strikes in what is being called "Operation Odyssey Dawn..."

I've just been posting on the abc news site and there are so many pro-Obama supporters over there. One went so far as to say he is just going a step further than Bush did and finishing the job unlike Bush. One of them actually responded to me when I questioned his actions without a declaration of war from congress were - read about the requirements for a UN-sanctioned military action. Another responded to my post about congress having the authority to declare war : No war has been declared.. but we are dropping missiles on Libya, is this not an act of war??

I can't even think straight right now, puzzled by how out of control the US government is. They clearly feel American citizens will roll over and take it and sadly they might be right. Living here in the very liberal S.F. bay area it was almost every weekend there would be an anti-war demonstration taking place but as soon as Obama became president that came to a sudden halt, proving people here were more anti-Bush than anti-war. Time will only tell how this latest war will play out in the minds of Americans.

It looks like they will continue breaking the law and betraying the American people until we actually throw them out of the Capitol and into prison. Currently, they do whatever they want because they have no fear.
I think we should start at the top with Barack Obama, and make an example of him. We need to show the other criminals that there are real penalties for public servants that violate the law.
Of course, this would actually take some real courage from thousands of Americans, but really only a small fraction of a percent would be necessary.

Life can be a bitch and when America tries to stop it or prevent it or get in between a situation that's none of our business it makes it worse. A civil war is just that, the only way for people to work on their problems is to fight it out to kill each other.
