Birther issue hits the Big Time: Mad Magazine

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=278437

Lawsuits have claimed Barack Obama fails the Constitution's eligibility test for presidents because his father was a Kenyan, because he was born overseas and because his original long-form birth certificate has been withheld.

Mad magazine, now, has released its solution: His birthplace is "wherever it was he was born."

The magazine, in an article "How Barack Obama stacks up to the other 42 presidents," also takes jabs at Obama's dependence on Teleprompters, his middle name (Hussein), his busted lip and his onetime pastor, Jeremiah Wright.

"Everybody else has to. Excuse me. I really believe there is a birth certificate. Look, she's smiling. Why doesn't he show his birth certificate? I wish he would. I think it's a terrible pale hanging over him," Donald Trump told the ladies of "The View."

"I want him to show his birth certificate. I want him to show his birth certificate," Trump later said in the interview.

Oct. 3, 1902 - Harvey Kurtzman, founder of "MAD" magazine, was born. His imagination is 108 years old so far... Gone MAD so far. So far, it is funny.

---- War "Nuclear Dummies" Perspective ----

Alfred E. Neuman, [ MAD Magazine Poster Boy ] is probably resting easier now that the Cold War has ended, and with it the MAD doctrine of nuclear stalemate.

But, nuclear accidents remain a distinct possibility; and nuclear proliferation, along with the growing prospect of nuclear terrorism, still casts a pall over human consciousness. Remembering what happened in places like Kazakhstan and Chelyabinsk should give us pause for thought. What have we done to ourselves?

“What, me worry?” - [Alfred E. Neuman,] Actually, a bit of angst may motivate people to make wiser decisions with regard to such powerful technologies. But will it be enough?

------------ War College Perspective ------------

Getting MAD: Nuclear Mutual Assured Destruction, Its Origins and Practice -- Brief Synopsis.

[MAD] is the first critical history of the intellectual roots and actual application of the strategic doctrine of nuclear mutual assured destruction or MAD. Written by the world's leading French, British, and American military policy planners and analysts, this volume examines how MAD and its emphasis on the military targeting of population centers influenced the operational plans of the major nuclear powers and states, such as Pakistan, India, and Israel. Given America's efforts to move away from MAD and the continued reliance on MAD thinking by smaller nations to help justify further nuclear proliferation, Getting MAD is a timely must reading for anyone eager to understand our nuclear past and future.

Mad is right: Only 9% believe Obama has documented eligibility

The birther issue is long overdue for Mad magazine.

Only 9% believe Obama has documented eligibility
Scientific tally shows 2 of 3 like state legislation to require proof

BUMP4BIRTHERS

got to get a copy of Mad

I had an after thought and I have to add it.
I think no matter which side of the birther issue you stand on...or any other Obvama issues..I think we can effect the good people of MAD and the Globe..and other issuses that come out with stuff like this on Obama.
We know the 'good news' stuff about him is more than likely 99.99% crap...so those stories..we dont buy..But when it comes to the other stories..like this one..(even the snub he got on the royal wedding..which I must say..proves William has a brain not to invite them)...when those stories appear..we should snatch them up.
The higher the sales go..the more negitive stuff on Obama they will print..and in a weird way..it will help get the world out.
Im just starting to wonder, if they got enough calls, letters, email request, if Mad, the Globe, Playboy, any of them, would interview the leaders..(the real ones not some Sarah Palin or a wanna be)of the Revolution?

I believe in Hope & Change..I Hope the government will Change
