Your article, as well as the one I have cited, illustrates, to me, that this invasion is about pilfering Libya's resources and was planned well in advance of the "civilian uprising".
In addition, I had the opportunity, around the beginning of this year, to speak with an American marine on leave. He told me of an odd occurrance which he had just experienced in December. He said that his unit was enroute via aircraft carrier to one destination, when suddenly and unexpectedly they were rerouted in mid-air to fly over somewhere in "Africa" (he said) to drop off equipment in a type of maneuver which allows the "drop" to occur without setting down.
