Fukushima corium outside all containment, MSM blackout continues

Priceless comments from the video:

The first thing under control in these accidents is the information.

Radiation off the scale of the measuring equipment.

May be hot enough to cause underground Hydrogen explosions.

Corium, also called fuel containing material (FCM) or lava-like fuel containing material (LFCM), is a lava-like molten mixture of portions of nuclear reactor core, formed during a nuclear meltdown, the most severe class of a nuclear reactor accident. It consists of nuclear fuel, fission products, control rods, structural materials from the affected parts of the reactor, products of their chemical reaction with air, water and steam, and, in case the reactor vessel is breached, molten concrete from the floor of the reactor room.

~wobbles but doesn't fall down~

New Record High Radiation Level @ Fukushima

So awful even MSM cannot completely hide the truth:

1) The actual level is unknown since this is the maximum the equipment is capable of measuring.

2) This is LETHAL in under an hour, apparently ON THE GROUND outside any buildings.

3) Typhoon Muifa nearing Japan.

cooling pumps. no talk about cooling pumps.

just dumb talk about "after the fact" problems with the heat source.

I know what a pump is.

and we can all see what happens when they fail to work.

my invoice will reflect your ignorance.

Little by little, the truth is doled out: yes, meltdown.

Here you have it, folks. Every time you see the term "event" in reports about the radiation from Japan, you can replace that with "meltdown." Bit by bit, they dole out the truth . . . because too many can provide independent reports despite the silence of "authorities."

WRAPUP 4-Japan says high radiation due to partial meltdown after quake

TOKYO, March 28 (Reuters) - The high level of radiation in water flooding the basement of a reactor at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant is likely due to a partial melting of fuel rods after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, the government said on Monday.

"The radiation seems to have come from fuel rods that were partially melted down and came in contact with the water used to cool the reactor," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told a news conference. "Steam may have condensed ... carrying water from within the containment vessel."

The partial meltdown would have happened after the tsunami crashed through the reactor and knocked out its cooling system.

Plumes of Cesium 137, Iodine 131, and Xenon 133, have reached the United States as of March 23, 2011.

Higher plumes, reaching 5000 meters (15,000 feet) are forecast to reach Portugal, Spain, and Central Europe.

Reactor #2: radioactivity is 10M times normal in the water

I'm just reporting these apparent official government lies.

Tokyo Electric Power Company says it has detected radioactive materials 10-million-times normal levels in water at the No.2 reactor complex of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.

The level of contamination is about 1,000 times that of the leaked water already found in the basements of the Number 1 and 3 reactor turbine buildings.

hmmm.......... lets reflect

Monstanto tests BGH on 60 something rats in its ONLY test for human toxicity,The FDA rubber stamped it and we now all consume BGH in our milk.

Therefore, when a pattern of diseases begins to emerge attorneys can not trace those latent diseases back to their original source to sue for class action under product liability....now that's milk, think about the industrial interests in nuclear proliferation.....

think we're left out of the loop?

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

Silly question

Of course we are being lied to. Governments say they have the matter under control, because that is what governments say. News outlets and conspiracy/junk-science shops say be afraid, be very afraid, because that is what they say. The governments might have some real information, but governments keep secrets instinctively.

Actual scientists get very little air play. They do not give good sound-bite. They can only describe possibilities, because those who know what is really going on (if anyone does) are not telling.

"Apocalypse" or not they have to deal with it.

The reactor design spec throughout the country was prepared for only 5 meters high Tsunami. The 9 mag earthquake produced 14 - 15 meters H waves, causing the loss of electricity that powered the crucial cooling system. Best human guess was far short of what the mighty Nature brought about.

At least this calamity was not intentionally inflicted by malicious imperial human action as in DU poisoning in Iraq. . .

The Iraqis are facing the same dilemma of having to shield themselves from radiation poisons or flee from their beloved land. Fear, sorrow and pain of the evacuated refugees will be shared with all those who are afflicted. . .

for the outcome of simple human error...

A power company apologized Saturday and said the exposure of three workers at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant to highly radioactive water might have been avoided with better communication.
The Thursday incident has spurred questions about the source of the radioactive contamination in water, its potential to taint seawater nearby, and the prospect it might be evidence of a leak in at least one of the facility's six reactor cores.
It also prompted further criticism of the Tokyo Electric Power Co., which runs the plant, and how well it is safeguarding the nearly 500 people working to prevent more emission of potentially cancerous radioactive materials about two weeks after a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami rocked the facility.
On March 24, three workers laying electrical cable in the basement of the No. 1 reactor's turbine building stepped in tainted water, exposing themselves to high levels of radiation. Two suffered direct exposure on their skin.

katherine - dont be naive

better communication??

You think this was a mistake??
TEPCO and the Japanese government covered up their past decisions which were based solely on cost and money just like very major corporation.
They have ZERO concern for human life.
look at BP.

I know...

I wasn't being naive, I was being sarcastic. I really don't understand how anyone can support a technology that is capable of causing such devastating health issues so easily, through human error or a simple mistake - much less how anyone can expect an apology to suffice. Their concern, however, is not about human health or welfare. Their concern and their apology, just as it was with BP, is all about the almighty dollar (or yen, or whatever).

Thank you, Mr. Twain,

for your stalwart research into the many varied and extreme dangers of implementing nuclear generated power.
You stated, "Please research for your safety. Authority has something else on their mind."
I agree. Research will lead us to awareness and knowledge of the dangers of nuclear generated power, as well as to the many varied alternatives, as well.

Your very welcome. I try hard. I am astonished at so much!

Hard rain is a solvable problem.

Hard reign.... empire reign... less so.

Thank you for your help.

Seeking good leadership is so important. The older one gets, the more clearly this is important.

Though Dr Ron Paul & others disagree on this issue at hand, his positions are reasonable. He chooses his initiatives wisely. He mentions risk & sets course, with knowledge of the +/- value of so many agendas.

For example: He mentions the disasters of Three Mile Island & Chernobyl; yet laments, in spite of known risk, we will proceed on course, vigilant of safety risks. He is willing to be the lone voice on many issues; but, not all. He needs support of many to carry his wonderful agenda forward. Difficult to please even half... let alone fight the power hungry.

Alas, you have shown me how I may see things quite differently.

I have exposed known dangers & absurdities. Mix in entertainment... Balance always a work in progress.

I see things more as setting course, than arriving at truth... Docking tight with sturdy bow lines to a nearby pier & defending truth is not a quest nor set position for me. Truth is not a capture & hold position for any.

You have become quite persuasive in your writing... please continue. Be not expectant, that others will see as you do; continue to see clearly what you do.

I am forever astonished & surprised at what others do.

I am honored

I am honored by your words of esteem and I am most happy to have been of service, for that is my intention! Even so, I am still a work in progress, and I will endeavor to continue the search for truth and wisdom throughout all of my life...
On that note, I agree that it is true that "truth", or one's personal truth actually, is not a capture & hold position. But I also believe that any great deed is irrelevant compared to making one's decisions based upon spiritual truths, which are unchanging.
Also, I can imagine how difficult it must be to be the lone voice on many issues, and so I do join in support, for the most part, of our good doctor's wonderful agenda. As you say, it is difficult to please even half... let alone to fight the power hungry - who have absolutely no desire to base their decision making in anything but selfishness and greed. And that is exactly why I will continue to support him, for the most part - even though I must also continue to call attention to the policies which I cannot support. And nuclear power generation is one of those policies.
And again, thank you for all that you do! Your posts are always very informative and entertaining - peppered with some of the spice of life! :)

WOW, if I understand this correctly....

..It means that the Japanese Government is lying! Shocker! I mean what type of Government would lie to it's people? (sarcasm)

I think everyone is blowing this out of proportion

Its been a while since high school chemistry but if I remember right radio active stuff weighs a lot more than stuff that is not, so even if an explosion happens the nuclear material should not get that far, and the smoke certainly should not be filled with the radio active material, due to its weight.

If I am wrong please post a link I am willing to learn.

Weight is relative

The "radio active stuff" from Chernobyl caused serious damage at least as far as Sweden, nearly 1000 miles away.

Ann Coulter, FYI...

The accident at the Japanese nuclear plant is not like medical radiation treatments.

There are two basic types of radiation: ionizing and nonionizing.
Nonionizing radiation comes in the form of light, radio waves, microwaves and radar. This kind of radiation usually does not cause tissue damage.
Ionizing radiation is radiation that produces immediate chemical effects on human tissue . X-rays, gamma rays, and particle bombardment (neutron beam, electron beam, protons, mesons, and others) give off ionizing radiation. This type of radiation can be used for medical testing and treatment, industrial and manufacturing purposes, weapons and weapons development, and more.
Radiation sickness results when humans (or other animals) are exposed to very large doses of ionizing radiation. Radiation exposure can occur as a single large exposure (acute), or a series of small exposures spread over time (chronic).
Radiation sickness is generally associated with acute exposure and has a characteristic set of symptoms that appear in an orderly fashion. Chronic exposure is usually associated with delayed medical problems such as cancer and premature aging, which may happen over a long period of time.
The risk of cancer depends on the dose and begins to build up even with very low doses. There is no “minimum threshhold."

Brutal, evil

Most folks on DP are probably not surprised by a government that does not protect its subjects, but this is just such an abject, overwhelming, epic failure.

To not evacuate even children or pregnant women from irradiated areas?

God save the people!
