This is a great way to give RP our support consistently WHILE we bring in new supporters. And we can do this while the new bombs go off! We attracted a lot of new support with the last money bomb (I didn't totally jump on board until after November 5th's success) and they are not maxed out.
I would like to point out the synergistic effect money bombs have. When we see that ticker going crazy as the online totals get updated every 2 minutes or so, we tend to let ourselves throw caution to the wind and donate even more than we thought we would. It works. We can do both. We have proven that. And we have new blood that will keep all these ideas fresh and energized.
Let's not abandon the "old" ideas like the blimp and the money bombs in favor of the good new ideas. Let's just do it all!
We're Ron Paul supporters! We can shatter all expectations because we have a man that is delivering a message we all want! Most of us never contributed to a presidential campaign before and look at us now!
Many of us are young and, for the first time in our lives, are going to vote FOR a presidential candidate, not AGAINST one. That gives us power over the rest of the lot. Let's support this great idea, and if you are broke for now, support the main money bombs by getting the word out. One doesn't cancel out the other. Personally, I am going to buy signs, t-shirts and slim jims that go to the campaign and do them on my payday AND on the bombs. They help me spread the word and help the campaign in dollars, and it doesn't have to be one or the other.
The main point is, we don't have to prove ANYTHING anymore. They (MSM) aren't listening anyway. Keep the bombs alive for the newbies and keep the campaign sustained with the payday.

We proved our point on the 16th. I am almost halfway maxed out from the two bombs and the blimp. This is the best idea in my humble opinion. We are innovators! The bomb has had it's day. We owned it!! It's time for something new and this is it. I can't express how much of a good idea I think this is and the rationale behind it. Let's leave the Bomb period on top and move on to other things. This Is It!!!!!

But when I save up for the money bomb, I give everything I can possibly afford. This December 16th, I was only able to afford $100. And because I gave it all at once, I'm cleaned out for a little while (especially with Christmas). Now, I can't do much to help other things like the blimp, etc. However, if I only give $25 a week, I can afford a few bucks for other projects and it isn't such a strain on my finances.
Think about it, we get 25,000 NEW supporters donating last Sunday. Even though there are many who are maxed out, we shouldn't have too much trouble "selling" this idea.

Great timing, need to focus
During recent Christmas parties with contemporaries and neighbors I was shocked that the vast majority of them either did not know who Ron Paul was or knew his name but not his message. It was truly mind blowing. I gave away my remaining ronpauldvd’s and dished out a sign to a new Ron Paul supporter.
Canvassing is key, anticipating and marketing the next big money bomb is not. Let’s start a simple, low profile, consistent pay check for RP2008 today!! (BTW, kudos to all RP grass root initiative organizers and supporters)
Now, I’m going to order $70 pack of http://www.ronpaulreveres.com/ DVD’s and continue visiting uninformed citizens (I just watch the video: great editing and ramped approach to presenting RP is great + the cost is being subsidized by a wealthy donor).

This is a wonderful idea. The money bombs have served their purpose, it is time to move on. No more donations to money bombs from me. I am supporting this new venue with Troy!
This is a much easier goal to achieve. When you see that the Pay Day has been meet you can choose to donate;
locally,
to the blimp,
or in some other creative way.

In my opinion it will be bad
In my opinion it will be bad to go for a money bomb again, we will eventually, like the guy in the video says, run short and the media will smear it all over the universe. I almost know RP would rather get chunks weekly rather than wait for MBs. The media is just WAITING for us to flop on one so they can pounce.
The guy has a good idea, I think we should adopt it now rather than later. Its for sure much better than that MLK fiasco thats brewing.
