Ron Paul is currently 49th on their list of most influential people for the year... let's fix that.
EDIT: In the past 24 hours, we've brought the good doctor up to 7th!
Remember to vote EVERY day. It appears we're allowed on vote every 24 hours!
EDIT: We've slipped a little. Ron Paul is currently 9th. I find it hard to believe there are only a few thousand Paul supporters out there with 2 minutes to vote in a poll...

The poll is closed but
the best RP quote I've ever read in Time Magazine
"and he could find that the third time's the charm."
Hmmmmmm!
In the online poll, Ron is in 14th place but for some reason, he is not listed in this dailymail.co.uk article.

“I have joined your revolution and I’m proud to be part of what you want to do.” - Ron Paul
Time Magazine has been doing
Time Magazine has been doing this for a few years now. Ron Paul scores very high in the poll, but they never include him in the official top 100.

Internationalists do not like Ron Paul
They do everything they can to ignore or malign him.

To Vote Closes 4/14
Make sure you put in the letter code and hit submit. Don't just push next after answering yes.
I think Ron would get more votes
from Julian Assange supporters if Assange wasn't on the list. They may not want to see Paul overtake Assange.
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
Why does it say this?

I thought for sure I voted for him last year. I think he even won.

No, he didn't win the online poll.
I think it was won by Rain last year and a bunch of other entertainers were ahead of him. He may have been the leading politician.
Note that the online poll does not produce the 100 Most Influential list that Time publishes. I think they include the winner of the online poll along with 99 that the Time editorial staff selects.
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
IMO
Quit contributing to polls. No one cares.

on Twitter one democrat said to me he would vote for Ron Paul but instead voted for Bradley Manning.

Yay!
Dr. Paul is now ahead of GB in the rankings thanks to so many dissing the latter. I'll have to listen in Monday and see what he says about it on his on his radio show. http://radiotime.com/program/p_20277/The_Glenn_Beck_Program....
New Hampshire and Ecuador.

There seems to be a concerted effort to bump Beck way down in the rankings. Look at his high "not influential" number (second column). At this rate he's bound to plunge past Dr. Paul's window soon.
(Yes, I left Rain off the list at #1.)
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
I can't believe
Beyonce and Gaga are even on the list - unless the negative influence they imbue counts.
Go here to read what these two promote:

influential = 2453, not influential = 2717, ranking #164 :-)
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
Wouldn't put too much stock in this
Polls can be robo-signed. I'm more interested in his message and supporting RP politically, regardless of what these polls say, especially for a num nut magazine like Time.
Losing to Neocons sucks
I agree we shouldn't care about losing to pop stars but Neocon Christopher Hitchens? Neocon, pretending to be libertarian, Glenn Beck? Come on, we should at least beat these two jerks out of pure spite.
Hitchens as neocon?
He's a Nader-supporting self declared Socialist and atheist which wouldn't necessarily put him hanging out with Lindsey Graham.
His ranking is oddly high all the same.
Currently consuming: Free Domain Radio; Virtue of Selfishness; Human action;
Hitchens
has adopted the neocon warmonger position over the last few years.
He also considers himself a "Marxist".
I think it's pretty clear that Hitchens has never been right about anything in his entire life.
He's basically a drunken gutter-bum who tries to pass himself off as an intellectual. And fails.
Delete Cookies
If you delete your cookies after each time you vote, you can vote as many times as you want! If you commit a couple hours to it you should be able to get 500, maybe 1000 votes. Lets get Mr. Paul to where he deserves, the number one spot.
Thank you
Here's the fastest way I've been able to vote.
Set Firefox to Tools/Options/Privacy 'never remember history'
Set homepage to voting page: http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,2...
vote
alt-f, x or ctrl-shift-w to close firefox
open firefox (automatically clears the cache), vote again
repeat as much as you can stand
Distorting polls...
no matter how ridiculous is sorta repugnant.
I know everyone does it, but eeehhhh... stooping to that.
yeah
boo hoo
Who the hell is Rain?
And why does he have ten times the votes as Ron Paul?
Well, I googled him to find out:
Rain is a girly looking, Korean pop music star and actor. He's known as the Korean Justin Timberlake.

There, I feel like I have really made a difference in the Daily Paul community today. ;)

to vote the ones above him as Non-influential!!!!
Ron Paul > Gary Johnson > Crap > Obama
Better to vote multiple times for RP
Clear the cache and vote again, voting against the others is much less effective from a mathematical standpoint. Your heart's in the right place though.
I should probably explain - lets say you vote for RP 10 times, he advances against all opponents 10 points. If you vote against 10 different opponents, RP only advances 1 point against each of those opponents and no points against the others.
Thanks
