(for those who are not familiar with the Onion.)

I am astonished at how few care to think about this while at the same time getting angry about TSA pat downs and unwarranted wiretaps.

People used to lock their diaries so little brothers couldn't read them. Now they tell everybody everything.

Facebook seems to actually undercut friendship and intimacy. Learning about an individual's personal life should be a result of acquired trust, mutual respect, and true affection.

So sez I.

But, I'm basing my opinion on hearsay since I am not a part of FB. A stranger on the other side of the world may quite possibly know more about my kin than I, simply because I can't read FB without signing up. So be it.

A friend of mine posted this in a conspiracy theories group I have on facebook. I was busting out laughing, but at the same time so sad. It's very close to the truth I'm sure
