Huck @ "over 30%" unable to raise 1M in 24h ? Strange ?
I've found this post on the internet...a very valid point. And how the f%$# McCain is 27% when 3 weeks ago was something like 11% ?

I find this VERY important since the mainstream media has lifted Huckabee from single digits in the polls to the 30's and 40%. Somehow I find that hard to believe, but in a week we will know.
I think that when we see the pledges and donations fall WAY short of their goal, a very simple one at that ($1,000,000), THAT will show a TRUER reflection of where Huckabee stands in national support.

Thanks for being here...I've not met a Huckabee supporter out here in Arizona. Could you please tell me, and maybe all of us, why it is that you support Mr. Huckabee while obviously admiring alot of what we do for Ron Paul?
I am guessing that you are here and watching because you feel as though it is a matter of "technique" or "marketing" in getting support to grow for your candidate as we have done for Ron Paul.
Please consider that it is the potentcy of the message, the integrity of the man, and the absolute frustration with the "status quo" that is fueling our revolution. Not a simple "repackaging" or a "savvy new internet strategy".
Drop by again sometime.... we could discuss international intervention, or sound money policy, or limited government, or personal accountability....or political "pork".......or the place of religion in politics.......or macro economic sustainability............or......

How does Huckbee resemble anything like a Reagan Conservative? I doubt Reagan would agree with the release of criminals so they could murder when they were released.
I don't know if he knows it but Reagan was for small government (though he didn't achieve this fully) and he was against taxes. Huckabee makes Hillary look thrifty.
Every time I see Huckabee on an ad or TV all I can think of is that he's a Paul-want-a-bee. I'm starting to dislike him more then Romney. All his rhetoric is just copying and stealing Dr. Paul's platform. Has Huckabee ever read the constitution??

JIVEWIRE gets the impression that Huckabee is being peddled by the powers that be that support Fooliani. Perhaps Huckabee has been promised a VP spot as long as he steals the thunder from Romney in the early primaries, and Ghouliani can make his impact on the big Feb 5th primaries.
Part of the reasoning for this is based on why a supposed old media crowned front runner has been invisible in these final weeks leading up to the primaries. Sure, the fascist had some bad press by having taxpayers protect his mistress, but JIVEWIRE also feels he is lying low, allowing Huckabee to garner all the attention and squash Romney in the process.
Don't forget Guiliani has the vile evil neocon Norman Podhoretz as one is his foreign policy advisors. This warmonger is bloodthirsty, advocating an attack on Iran. If you haven't seen neocon Podhoretz in all his vile glory, go to youtube and enter in "we are change confronts Podhoretz".....the neocon is pawned and exposed, a classic viewing!

The way I see it . . .
I have always stressed that we were not competing with you guys and that no campaign has or will come close to what you've been able to accomplish. You are on a level all by yourselves. I also believe that everyone underestimates the strength of Dr. Paul's campaign.
When it comes down to comparison Huckabee supporters as a whole are not heavy web-users. I know dozens and dozens of Huckabee supporters and I'm one of the few that spends much time online for politics. They are generally older and less likely to even understand how a "moneybomb" works. You should have seen me trying to explain it to our Meetup Group.
Furthermore, every single moneybomb to date (that I'm aware of) has fallen short of their goal -- even your monster $6 million haul. We started on Dec17th and only had two days of promotion before the Christmas blackout (our website traffic dropped 60% December 19th and then another 60% on December 20th). Most people have little money to spare at this time of year. All-in-all we're happy for anything we get.

Sorry, but that's just not going to cut it. Your man consistently polls in the 20's or 30's according to the MSM. If his support is so strong then where are the donations to back that up? This line you're giving us that all his supporters are little ol' ladies who never learned about the internet is just bullsh!t. If Huckabust was as popular and as good of a candidate and a leader as you say he is then more people would be supporting him and donating whether the polls favored him or not, whether the media pushed him or not, whether the little ol' ladies knew how to use the internet or not. If Ron Paul supporters are just a bunch of computer guys running up their credit cards down in the basement and spamming the internet polls then your man should have been able to really rake in the cash today instead of charging for speeches to keep the lights on. My 88 year old mom uses the internet daily, and she has given to Ron Paul on both money bomb days. No, I did not ask her to or even suggest it. I mean, who doesn't surf the internet these days? That's got to be one strange demographic.
Don't discount the size of the non-broadband demo
In NYC I knew many people who despised the encroachment of the computer . In western Illinois I know farmers who just simply are not interested turning their computers on for anything other than futures prices and global crop reports . As of E o October , they had no idea who Ron Paul was . Many don't even have satellite . They are not news junkies like us . When Time mag comes and has an article "The GOP : None of the Above" they read about the flaws of the five but don't even learn the existence of an alternative named Paul .
These demos are far more massive than we would like to believe which is why all the fantastic on the ground real world physical signs and outreach have been and are so vital .

Huckabee is being paid $25,000 - 45,000 per appearance for speeches. This is how "they" are pushing money in to him to make up for the total lack of public support and try to keep up the pretense he is at 30% and a serious contender. So this guy is running around Iowa talking to people who may not earn this in a year or have been laid off from the Maytag factory, and "someone" is paying the Huckster big money for showing up and making a speech to these people - and then he wants them to vote for him.

that we need to consider the source for one and maybe reverse the poll numbers. Things are just not adding up and I have been saying it all along Ron has more support than Huckabee. Follow the money trail and you will see this.

I guess Ron Paul's secret fundraising formula is still secure. Not even the "freedom" theme seemed to work for Huckabee. Time to focus-group some phrases to see how the voters might best respond to a theocratic clampdown on individual rights.

The Old Media is just propaganda. They get paid to lie. Their job is not to report the news, it is to form opinions.
The first phase of ignoring Ron Paul is over. The next phase is two pronged. First to demonize him. And secondly, to convince as many people as possible that he can't win.
We have already seen some of the smears. The $500 dollars from some racist yahoo. I think that we can expect to see more "supporters" of Ron
Paul doing things to discredit him. We don't need to go on the defensive. We just need to point out who is doing this.
We have been hearing that he can't win. I think that will continue right up to the time he gets the nomination. It is just defeatist propaganda.
The old media created Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, two obscure southern governors. Once they were anointed by the CFR, they got all the free publicity they needed. I think Obama falls into the same category. What have any of these men done to distinguish themselves from the other pandering politicians? They delived, the same as their predecessors did.
The old media promotes these new faces as outsiders. In fact, they are anything but. Ron Paul is the real deal. He doesn't play ball with the special interests that have been running this country for the better part of a century.
That said, we don't have to worry about the old media. We have the Internet, a medium that is uncontrolled. No one decides what information can be displayed on the Internet. There is a lot of garbage on the Internet, but then, the old media is mostly garbage. The old media has little of substance. We just need to be discerning in what we see on the Internet.
The old media, what I refer to as the Ministry of Propaganda is rapidly becoming irrelevant.

BTW, Ron Paul's fundraising is still trending upward and this month has already surpassed last month. Traditionally, campaigns don't trend upward in December.
