Forbes: Why Are The Republicans So Silent On The Falling Dollar?

http://www.forbes.com/2011/04/13/republicans-falling-dollar-...

The failure of our fiat currency is up for political grabs.

The most astounding feature of the political fray as the 2012 election comes into view is that not a single Republican other than Congressman Ron Paul is stepping forward to brand as his or her own the issue of honest money. The whole party is into the negotiation with the president over the budget, and the underlying issue--the failure of our fiat currency--is up for grabs.

It is true that there's plenty of blame to go around on the dollar. It had a value of 265th of an ounce of gold on the day that George W. Bush acceded to the presidency and was worth less than an 853rd of an ounce of gold on the day he left office. The New York Sun, which supported Mr. Bush in 2000 and 2004 elections, issued in December of 2005 an editorial called "The Bush Dollar," warning of the collapse of the greenback. It had just sunk below a 500th of an ounce of gold.

Today,of course, it is worth barely more than 1,500th of an ounce of gold. The giddiness of the plunge of the dollar really started to be felt in the years after the Democrats acceded to the leadership of the House. At the time the Sun called for renaming the dollar "The Pelosi." The collapse has been so dramatic that the Europeans, the United Nations and even the Chinese communists are talking about the need to create a new international reserve currency.

Why are the Republicans silent?

Because there in on the scheme with the Democrats. Both parties are controlled by the zionist banker cabal, the Federal Reserve. "Party til you puke" has been the mantra in Washington for decades. The irresponsible lawmakers we send up there are just about to see the system too it's cookies, and they're all standing around saying, "who? me? I didn't do it". Ron Paul could seize this moment with the proper campaign team, but I'm not seeing that happen.

Gee, you have to be an

Gee, you have to be an economic wizard to understand that the more money the fed creates out of thin air, the less every unit is worth.

I can't believe Ron was able to work in the District of Clowns for so long... I really give him credit for being able to stomach running for congress for so long. I don't think I would've been able to bare the idiocy of Washington D.C. for that long.

Infowars just picked up on the story

once again Daily Paul was the first getting the word out.

It won't hurt them for some time yet.

Because they have tons of them.

donvino

Because if they do...

they will have to admit to themselves that Ron Paul's message is legit and that they were wrong and that the party is indeed over as well as the empire...

“The Internet is the first thing that humanity has built that humanity doesn't understand, the largest experiment in anarchy that we have ever had." - Eric Schmidt

oooh, oooh, I know why.

Because they don't care or even understand it. All they know is they get free haircuts and people treat them like they're special. I'll greet any country on earth that invades us as liberators at this point.
A better question is, "why are the people such a collection of dolts?" It encompasses more than just the elected morons and addresses ALL the morons.
Republicans are a bigger joke than democrats because at least the democrats wear their communism on their sleeve, the republicans pretend to be for freedom and the like but they really just hate poor and black people. You didn't hear any of them complaining about Mrs Sachs getting a cool couple hundred million, but if Lashawnda from New Orleans gets a purse, it's a national affair. But, we keep playing along because we've been so dumbed-down that we're all basically retarded now. Any new tv personalities anyone's supporting for president this week??

I know you are being flippant; of course

any invasion would be violent and no short cut to liberation. It is up to our same old boring technique of getting the truth told and and understood and supported.

The GOP is still wedded to George W. Bush and the neocons.

They don't dare admit this relationship has destroyed the dollar.

and the Democrats continue those wars.....

and then want to raise taxes so they can pay for socialized, no-choice health care.

Republicans in 2012 will be fighting the wars from the

last election cycle, just like in 2008 they were fighting with tactics from 2004.

Always fighting the previous battle, never the one in front of them.

Of all of the critters infesting DC, the only real human beings are Ron and Rand, who stand alone, but together, on the issues that impact us the most.

RON PAUL 2012

Might as well ask: where are all the honest politicians?

Lo and behold there's only 1 in the House and 1 in the Senate.

The same reason both parties are silent on war

And most other issues. They feel that in the world of politics as usual they can sit quietly by and allow the executive branch to do its worst and not appear to be taking part in it in hopes that they will have a job next election cycle. G.W. Bush started the destruction of the dollar and Obama jumped in where he left off, and now we find that the bailout that was to save our nation was nothing more than direct theft in broad daylight where the administrations granted extremely wealthy friends huge welfare checks while main stream American not only carried the burden, but is now responsible for paying off the inflation created by ignorant actions of greed and irresponsibility. The Right wing is silent so that when the financial turmoil comes to a head they can point a finger and try to sell the public that they had nothing to do with it, simple as that.

Always remember:

George Carlin said it best "it's a big club and we are not in it".

As long as the population allows the rulers to manipulate lie wage costly wars while spreading fear using tools such as IRS DHS TSA e.t.c -- nothing much can change.

This fascist "bird" with two wings one called GOP and the other wing called Democratic party one day will expire as all creatures do -- all things come to an end & nothing lasts forever...
Hope the day comes soon.
The sooner the day comes the sooner the Republic can be restored.

I get some small amount

of pleasure in echoing Ron's words that it will all come to an end with the collapse of the dollar. Right after our (inevitable) bloody revolution we can start holding accountable all of those who have brought us to such dispair...Bankers, congress, and presidents should be held accoutable, their ill gotten assets seized (as they have done with poor Americans), tried, jailed and hung as per the coinage act and others. Mubarack and Hussein thought that they were above the law too.

I held back...

I really wanted to "vent" how I really feel...
