Thank you so much. The guitar is great, which really captured my attention, so I looked up they lyrics, which are awesome, too.

I don't know much about Jackson, really. I was just looking over his discography:

Thank you - it's such a huge pleasure to share music that I love. Jackson Browne is my all-time favorite songwriter.

I was a little girl when his music was on the radio all the time in the 70's. It's so interesting how you are formatted (like a disc) to the music that is played when you're a child. I really only 'discovered' his music a few years ago. My favorite album would have to be "For Everyman" - that is what turned me on to him. I love all his albums. I love Time the Conqueror, as well - it's so excellent to hear from the perspective of age in music, when most music seems to be about the concerns of youth.

I remember this song, but I didn't know it was Jackson Brown.

He says, "In '69 I was 21" Well, in '69 I was 1. lol. I remember walking to kindergarten in '74 past a gas station by my house. Cars were lined up around he block. So, technically, not before my time, either.

I was almost blinded into thinking that imperial dictators are the conquerors. Whew, good to know that they, too, will be conquered by time. . . the way it always has been from time immemorial.
