Ron Paul to speak on Barbour's home turf

Potential presidential GOP candidate Ron Paul will travel to the home state of one of his potential rivals to deliver a speech next week.

The Texas congressman will appear next Friday* at Mississippi State Unviersity to discuss libertarian politics, according to the school. Haley Barbour (R) another potential candidates, is governor of the state.

*The Hill has one thing wrong. The event is April 20. Per the MSU press release:

Texas congressman, physician and former presidential candidate Ron Paul will discuss libertarian politics during an April 20 visit to Mississippi State.

Sponsored by the university chapter of Young Americans for Liberty, the program featuring Paul begins at 7 p.m. in Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium. A brief question-and-answer session with audience members will follow his presentation.

"Liberty Defined" will be the topic of his remarks.

Earlier, Paul will hold a 3:30-5 p.m. book signing at the Barnes & Noble at MSU Bookstore
