Thanks all. I went to sleep

Thanks all. I went to sleep after I posted this and told my son to check back here. He is one of these kids that waits to the last minute to write a paper. I was too tired to help. I am off to work. Thanks again.

a list

I've given this list to a number of people, it begins with the shortest:

Damon Vrabel - Debunking Money - 12 minutes
Money As Debt - 46 min.
Damon Vrabel - Renaissance 2.0 - 6 lessons, about 60 min. total
Bill Still - Secret of Oz - about 2hrs. and the aforementioned Money Masters - just over 3.5 hours

when your son explains to his prof that without debt there is NO money in our system - the prof might become the student...

Didn't an old fool share this thoughts on US National Debt?

Isn't National Debt but make-believe?

  • Something about the US Treasury gifting promissory notes to the Fed.
  • Allowing the Fed to purchase US Treasury Bonds... another promissory note... with the aforementioned promissory notes.

Lauder, rinse & spin.

"Legal Tender" is masquerading as money... but it not.

Ah, the absurdity of it all! Best wishes.

The debt grows it can't not grow, that's the system

We have a debt-based monetary system. All money is issued through the mechanism of borrowing. It must grow exponentially or the whole thing collapses. Tell your son to watch "Money Masters" and read a lot.
This paper could change his life forever if he takes the time to "get it".
