Trump must be taken down..Submitted by Jefferson2 on Fri, 04/15/2011 - 11:05
Figuratively speaking of course.
I was watching the "Trumpfomercial" on Hannity last night before I went to bed. Apparently he is doing a 2 part commercial....ehem...interview, that will be completed tonight. Hannity had a huge billboard behind his stage with Trump's mug on it, that was quite telling.
I'm not sure what their game plan is, but it doesn't look favorable to us. (What a surprise) It is almost like they know RP is going to announce, and are preemptively going to try and steal any thunder that may come from that.
The subject of not getting the (R) nomination , and running as an independent came up. This is precisely what I was hoping that RP would do, but Trump is openly, slyly, talking about holding the GOP hostage if he doesn't get the nod.
They are either going to split the vote with Trump, who I assume has the cash to run indy and guarantee another 4 for the current regime, or they are going to try and give him the nod. I'm not sure which. I could be wrong on both accounts.
He played off the Dem donations with ease, explaining that he "lives in NY, which is heavily (D)" and that he "gets along with everyone". Hannity just lapped it up like the good dog he is.
This dude is dangerous, and it may take a full time effort to expose the danger he would put this country in. Some of the things he was saying about "taking other countries resources, and keeping the spoils of war" made my jaw drop. This guy would be an absolute nightmare. His delusions of grandeur, combined with his bloodthirsty nature, are the perfect ingredients for a dictator.
The wagons are beginning to circle, and we are going to be in the fight of our lives if RP runs. It is going to take a monumental amount of focus, and effort to try and break the matrix.
We have the "we told you so" factor on our side this time, but it is going to take much more than that. If Trump is truly polling like they say he is, then we have the equivalent of a barn raising ahead of us. It will be all hands on deck.
Never underestimate your opponent. I would like to think that he would get the same reception that Rudy did last time around, but you can never be too sure.
I suggest we start thinking about this now and planning accordingly, as I am pretty sure RP is going to run.
Here is part 1 of the "interview", if you can stomach it.
